Hello dear,I am sorry for not checking on you,I have spent five days without being online,I became sick and I went to UNHCR hospital,and I was admitted for two days,but the situation didn't change,and the only choice I had i sti go for a private hospital for better treatment, teaching there,I was tested and the doctor found out that I was suffering from malaria and typhoid,I was unconscious by the time I was taken to hospital,and my friend I was with requested the doctor to treat me,to save life first,as they look for money, though am recovering from sickness,the bad side of it is that,I haven't fully cleared the hospital bill,I have been helped by the people I live with but they have failed to clear the full bill,am here by kindly requesting you for help to clear the bill so that I can be sent free to go back home,am still in hospital,https://gofund.me/74c7ecfd3

Fundraising for a group of 35 queer refugees in a refugee camp in East Africa:
Gorom Refugee Settlement Camp is a refugee camp located about 26 km from the center of Juba, the capital of South Sudan. This camp is home to about 500 lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, queers, and heterosexual refugees. The group of LGBTQ refugees within this camp faces numerous challenges and hardships owing to their sexual orientations and gender orientations. They face discrimination, death, threats, and lack of basic human needs. They are unable to fend for themselves due to the homophobia and insecurity within the community they live in. Almost all of these LGBTQ refugees were disowned and ostracized by their families and friends back in their home countries; they can't get any financial support from their relatives back in their home countries. This situation has made them destitute with no one to turn to for financial support and no safe space to work and earn a living. Jamila, a transgender refugee from this camp reached out to me to help set up a fundraiser for them to get financial aid for buying basic human needs. Please donate and share this campaign to enable these vulnerable refugees get access to the basic human needs that they lack.

Provide decent shelters and renovate the wornout tents.
Provide sanitary pads for the menstruating lesbians.
Provide emergency medication for chronic illnesses like HIV/AIDS, Sickle cell disease, asthma, epilepsy, etc.

I am a gay man who dreamed of living a life without fear but when I came out my family and community rejected me and I had to run to save my life I escaped and came to Kakuma Refugee Camp believing I would finally find safety peace and a better future instead I experienced more violence and insecurity I was badly beaten and suffered a serious head injury with no real protection I was forced to leave again and came to Gorom Refugee Camp hoping life would improve but I am still living in fear facing hardship hunger insecurity and uncertainty every day I continue to hope for safety healing and a chance to rebuild my life with dignity.placeas act now to share and donate.

I'm transgender and a young leader of queer vulnerable refugees of over 27 LGBTQ individuals living in refugee camp in East Africa.
We fleed our countries after a narrow escape from persecution, death, and imprisonment not only at our community of residence but also from the government simply just because of who we are.
As a community, we face extreme discrimination, segregation, verbal abuse, our people often denied access to basic necessities and equipment of living like food supplies, medical supplies, clean water, safe shelters, sanitary wears for the lesbians and also security.
As a leader I carry A lot of there pain and suffering on a daily basis and try to advocate for us to see if we can be helped in one way or the other. We are currently seeking for support, assistance and donations from kind hearted individuals who believe in justice, equality and human dignity. Hello friends, followers, well-wishers, and everyone else, I bring to your attention, the destitute living conditions of LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers in Gorom refugee camp in South Sudan. Having been persecuted, rejected and disowned by our parents, cut off by our relatives and friends back in our home countries, we live a life of psychological challenges.
Life in Gorom refugee camp is not so different from the lives we experienced back in our home countries after coming out as gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders, queers, etc. We face persecution from other refugees who don't identify as LGBTQ, homophobic slurs, physical attacks, and discrimination everyday.
Lack of food, clean drinking water, proper medication, decent shelters, sanitary pads, decent clothes, are just some of the many challenges that we face as LGBTQ refugees in Gorom refugee camp.
