Fighting for the Right
The first Tuesday in November rolls around. You’re still coming off a sugar high from Halloween. You just survived another Monday. Kudos to you, but you still have a job to do.
It’s Election Day.
Why should you care? Because way too many people fought for you to walk into that voting booth and fill in a little bubble.
1776: The US of A is formed. That’s right. Land of the Free, Home of the Brave. Almost 10 years of fighting for freedom results in an unprecedented form of Democracy. ‘Merica.
That’s right. George “I’m Going to be the First American President” Washington.
1792: America is growing. This year starts the year that white men do not have to own property to vote, starting with Kentucky, you, Unbridled Spirit State, you.
1870: The Fifteenth Amendment victoriously passed, showering that awesome freedom of voting to all men, regardless of race, color, or “previous condition of servitude.” Freedom.
1920: Woman power. The Nineteenth Amendment is passed, giving women the right to vote nationally. After 41 years of debate in Congress, women could walk into a voting booth.
1965: The Pres Lyndon B. Johnson signs The Voting Rights Act of 1965. Enforcing and solidifying the Fifteen Amendment. Protecting the voting rights of all races. Way to go, POTUS!
1971: The voting age is changed from 21 to 18 years old, so our brave soldiers could fight for and exercise the right to vote.
None of these rights came without sacrifice. None of them came easily. Get out and vote on Election Day. Register to vote as soon as you can.
If you’re American, it’s your right. It’s your responsibility.
Our decals will make your beer taste like freedom! #Merica

Goin’ Back to Cali
American Made. Eco-Friendly. Artisan Made.
Lots to love.
This company’s story is one we love to hear, one of entrepreneurs who “get it:” American Made makes sense.
What started as a stainless steel water bottle company, this California-founded company found the environmental problems of shipping their product from oversees.
So they found a solution.
Drawing from their Cali resources, they found a design by using none other than clay! That’s right, Earthen, a top layer ground clay, is the base of their product, Earth-In Canteen. Add a non-toxic glaze, and you have yourself a reusable water bottle.

Sold both online and in select stores, Earth-In Canteen provides an eco-friendly way to support handcrafted, American made! A win-win-win in our books!

“We invite you to experience the peace of drinking pure water from a local, honest, perfectly natural, and totally sustainably-made canteen.” -Earth-In

Labor, Labour, Lay Boar
The English language is such a funny thing.
To our American friends, have a Happy Labor Day, minus the “U,” and minus the pig. Unless you want the pig, then, enjoy that as well!
More than Metal
Here at Short Run Pro, we value the art of metal working. It’s at the core of who we are and what we do.
To find another company that has this same appreciation and is American made is a win-win in our books!

Made in the Freakin’ USA
That’s right. The Freakin’ USA.
With a company name like Freaker USA, you know this company has originality written all over it.
Located on the coast of North Carolina, this Wilmington company started this business from a design concept and ambition. If the name sounds familiar, you’re probably remembering an episode of ABC’s Shark Tank.
Photo from www.freakerusa.com/about
What is a Freaker?
Short answer? A bottle insulator that fits everything. But more than that, the company has created a brand and identity that goes beyond the product. From the images to the verbiage on their website, the company goes beyond just selling a product, they are creating a brand that reflects what they really want to portray. And we’re happy being Made in America is a big part of it.

Pick up line? You mean beard.
For when the imported stuff won’t do.
Made for men. By American men. That’s the story of Duke Cannon, a soap manufacturer specifically for men. The manly men that is.
With scents such as “Smells like Productivity” and “Smells like Victory,” there is no question this brand is for those who are not looking for just anything off the shelf.
But our favorite part? That Made in the USA label. Coming straight from Memphis, Tennessee, this product boasts it’s love for the US of A. Even more, a portion of their profits supports veterans.
As their website says:
“Currently, we’re workign with Honor Flight Network to give our American veterans a very well deserved trip and tribute that sadly they cannot afford on their own. Honor Flight Network transports the heroes of the armed forces to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at its memorials.”
