Neil's pov and the foxes have such a unique and complex way to relate and communicate with each other that have me OBCESSED. much cause of their traumas, obviously, but there is so much nuances in everything they do, and it feels like every action, every look, every word they spoke, every little detail had some deep meaning behind it. And it is like reading and solving a puzzle at the same time, cause so many scenes are ressignificated along the way of the story and there are SO MUCH on the way they relate with each other thats never said out loud because they communicate in such a implied, indirect and disguised way, with little words but that are so meaneful. Neil's pov is also such an interesting thing to analise because he feels so much but at the same time he doesnt understand it nor know how to properly name it, and its so endearing to see him getting through it and learn to actually understand his own feelings and compromise himself with others because he's so eaguer to do it, he wants so much to be something, to have something and to mean something, even when he knows he shoudn't.
The trojans, on the other hand, are very objective and say everything on the spot to each other, nothing is unsaid or just implied because that's such a healthier enviroment, and even tough Jean has a lot of trauma to elaborate and has to learn how to enjoy life just like Neil learned, i think he's much more conscious of himself and his feelings than Neil is. Even when Jean is denying his own feelings he knows what he is denying and try to logic his way out of it, because thats how he manged to survived till now: by convincing himself be doesnt want nor is worth to want anything.
I love how both povs are so different from each other, and how it tells so much about their personality: Neil being a impulsive, instictive and very wary of his surroundings but not of himself person, while Jean is more of a overthinking, logic and cautious person that is very much on conscious denial of a lot of things.
