I don’t know how obvious this was to people who don’t speak at least a little Thai, but the reason this line is so significant is that May is saying Ai-Oon’s name. Oon means warmth.

Which gives this line a double meaning.

Ai-Oon is not just saying she feels warm when she’s with May. She’s saying she feels more like herself when she’s with her 😭

What Comes After Love Ep. 6

I've been following this drama from the start. One of the quotes from this episode,

「意味のない愛なんてないじゃないかなー。どんな愛だって、あいというのはそれ自体は幸せだって」 which translates to "There's no such thing as a love without meaning. Every kind of love, just by being love, is a blessing".

Just makes me think that love doesn't need to have a specific purpose or to last forever. Whether it's fleeting or long lasting or platonic or romantic, unrequited or reciprocated, it's a valuable thing to have/feel.
