#YOU ARE THE DANCING QUEEN
I don't know where else to complain, so I'm doing it here.
First off - still pregnant! 27+2, almost in the 3rd trimester. I'm very very grateful to still be here.
BUT FUUUUUCK pregnancy has not been easy.
In the beginning I was just worried with my cervix, since that was the issue when we lost Declan. So since 16 weeks I've been on progesterone medication, getting ultrasounds every 2 weeks and OB appointments every 2 weeks (with about a month in there when they were both being done weekly), we had a scare with this little ones heart and had to have a special fetal echocardiogram done (thankfully he got a clean bill of heart health), now I've been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and I'm still waiting to get into the clinic to know wtf that means for me, and yesterday my OB decided to put me on heart medication (it takes a few tries to get my blood pressure normal, but I've always been scared of doctors and SURPRISINGLY being pregnant makes me a little anxious 🤷🏻♀️). I've been off work since 23 weeks, I haven't been allowed to have sex since we found out, I'm on very restricted activity so I can only walk my dog for like a half hour a day, i cant get a pedicure or go for a massage or have a bath.
I'm just SO DONE with feeling like my body has failed me with pregnancy. I just want these next 3 months to fly by so I can hold my son safely in my arms and not worry about all of these pregnancy specific complications.
It just all feels like so much, and while I know it isn't the worst thing it just is exhausting
I messed my body up so much, I’m still only just starting to recover from this, and so are more actresses and most models. And they’re not telling you what they’re going through. And shame on them — we have a responsibility. People look up to us.
Hey fam - update! Still pregnant! Still growing our second little boy.
And today I am 21 weeks 4 days pregnant. The exact gestation where the beginning of the end happened with Declan.
I am grateful to be here with no issues so far, and so anxious for the next 2 weeks. Declan was born at 23+4, so once we get over that hump I feel like I might start to believe we will take this little guy home!
When you’re having a good time watching a musical and you suddenly get hit by that painful preformers envy:
This is gonna be me from the front row on Sunday seeing Mean Girls on Broadway.
if u ever find a genie and you’re really craving a dessert that looks like this:
do NOT say “i’d like a lifetime supply of raspberry crowns”
while this is, in fact, the name of the pastry, it’s ALSO the name of a species of wasp for some reason. the genie, being a nasty trickster, will no doubt give you a bunch of wasps.
this is an oddly specific post are you ok
My life-coaches are back!
And it took them 2 seconds to inspire my whole existence
Average size mannequin with average size woman.
The problem, in one picture.
I never realized until seeing this picture that my interpretation of an average size woman has become REALLY SKEWED oh my god I wanna cry
best picture ive reblogged in a while.
I’ve been struggling with my body image recently because I’ve gained a lot more weight… and this is so helpful to me because I think my image has been skewed by a lot of mannequins in stores.
“I lost my little brother when he was 21 in a car wreck, and I didn’t realise that had really shut me down. And I just constantly wanna give and never receive. I just kinda put a wall up of ever receiving anything that’s complimentary.”
“Being able to be vulnerable in front of people is hard. It takes strength. You’re just full of it.”
You’re doing a great job Spike.
I know it's been a while but an update: still pregnant! 16 weeks, 4 days and we got a nice ultrasound today to see our little baby (boy!)
This has been a rollercoaster of emotions and I'm not even halfway to full term yet.
I am so scared and so excited and we are doing everything in our power to keep this one safe
