Okay I didn’t want to do this but right now I’m left with very little options.
My names Ninola, I’m 20 years old, genderqueer and right now I’m in need of some help.
Today my 5 year old laptop has been essentially deemed dangerous and written off, I can’t touch it for fear of being electrocuted or it dying completely. The last time I will turn it on is to get some important files stored on there…
It is vital I have a laptop for my university work as a digital art student, not only that but it is the only link I have to my online friends who honestly have been one of the few things keeping my mental health from declining anywhere near as quickly as it would be.
The laptops that have the performance rate I need cost between £350-£600 ($580-$1000) and right now I have about £150 in savings ($251) so I need to raise at least £200 ($335). I have no source of income and live with my mother who is on benefits and cannot afford a replacement.
The option I’ve been given is to ask my father, who is abusive and I cannot even text without having a panic attack. This is obviously an option I am extremely unwilling to take, I’ve had to rely on him in the past for things I’ve needed -by this I mean places to stay ect- and the fact that I do not feel free of the harm he’s done to me is horrific.
I’m trying my best to find things I own I can sell, anything that can get me more money but right now it’s pretty limited. I’ve been trying to find a job but there’s little out there and with my severe anxiety it’s getting hard to leave the house full stop.
So I’ve turned to asking you guys for help.
I’m afraid I cannot offer much to you guys, for those donating over $15 I’d be happy to draw something traditionally for you -I have no examples I’m afraid- or would be willing to write you some sort of drabble, examples of my writing skill can be seen on my rp blogs here and here. Without a laptop I am unable to do digital art as of right now, but if people would be willing to wait I do make sprites for dangan ronpa ocs you see below:

Fun fact - Tamaki is the most asinine and disagreeable of my Dangan Ronpa OCs and also the one I have the most emotional attachment to, despite how often they tick me off. Incredible. Simply incredible.
Sorry for being so slow on replying to those star asks and for being absent from Skype - I've been trying to focus on working on my DA4 application! I'll try to get all of them done by tomorrow, it just might take me a bit of time, especially with as much as I tend to write.
Tamaki never had much of a chance to form that deep of an opinion on Fuyuuko, and the one they did end holding was pretty damn negative. She pissed them off with her narcissism (because, as we all know, Tamaki Manabe is the most humble person in the entire world), and the few exchanges they had during trials convinced Tamaki that Fuyuu was really fucking irritating and not even worth snapping at (no matter how much they wanted to, because they’re Tamaki Manabe, SHSL Asshole) because she clearly thrived off of attention, any attention, even negative attention. And thus, they started doing their best to ignore her and deny her existence entirely after she died, although that last one was pretty much because they were being an ass.
They have no hard feelings against her for killing Elijah, though, just like they don’t have hard feelings against most of the murderers. Tamaki didn’t give a shit about Elijah and felt nothing for his death, so why feel upset at Fuyuu for killing him specifically? They were really just pissed at her for making them get up at 2 AM to deal with her mess, and everything else in their ranting was just them railing at her because it felt nice and they were pissy after having their precious sleep schedule interrupted, not because they exactly cared. And then she died, and they ignored her out of spite, and just moved on because another threat eliminated, meh, whatever. And then they turned up in deadworld, and they were like ‘welp, there she is’ and by that point, they’d let go of any annoyance they felt towards her so yeah, Fuyuu you’re a solid ‘meh’ in Tamaki’s book at this point.
Maybe the two of them would end up interacting post-despair? I mean, Fuyuu is friends with Usoko, and so is Tamaki, so I can see them ending up at least in proximity of one another during the three month timeskip, and probably even afterward. I don’t think they’d be going out of their way to be her buddy, but I think they’d at least try to tolerate her, if nothing else.
I’m so sad that book buddies never happened, oh my god.
Tamaki was really excited when they found out about Kahori’s title! Shinji, their fellow literary talent back in Tartarus had recently died, so they needed someone new to talk books with. And oh man, does Tamaki love editors, especially skilled ones. They’re a literary critic who burns through several books in the space of a week, so you better believe that they’ve seen what books that don’t have editors or have unskilled editors look like. You need a decent editor to have any hope of turning out a decent book - Tamaki strongly believes that and wouldn’t have been surprised if Kahori had edited some of the better books they’d gone through. So yeah, it was another situation like Shinji - ‘I really don’t know you that well, but I respect your talent greatly, so I respect you and want to get to know you by default’.
Too bad that Kahori broke so badly after Nanoka’s death, because Tamaki immediately went ‘Wow, she’s a complete fucking wreck, and I am so not touching that’. They’ve seen tiny girls flipping out before - they’re friends with Minako, after all - but that was a whole other level of flipping the hell out, and they just… decided she’d be more trouble than she was worth, editor or not. Also, their only exchanges were A) during the school trials and B) were fairly negative in nature, considering she flipped their shit on them and all, so… yeah, they just gave up on the idea of book buddies altogether and went on their merry way.
And then she was one of the people who was planning on leaving and not staying behind, so… Tamaki is bitter against everyone who wanted to leave because they’re goddamn selfish and myopic. And then they probably proceeded to not even think much of Kahori after that because in the end, they never had a chance to so much as talk to her and mostly had negative impressions of her, and RIP book buddies, ‘twas over before it even began.
I mentioned in my response to Chiemi that she was one of the few Alphas that Tamaki ever felt something slightly positive for. Shun was one of the others. Tamaki didn’t ever get a chance to really interact with the guy and based most of his assessment of him from their few interactions in trials, but they really liked his general attitude, and he got a few instant bonus points in their book for A) being a fellow smoker and B) being a waiter who wasn’t Gorou. Also, they thought he was pretty damn attractive, gotta take those things into consideration. They understood there was some sort of drama surrounding the guy and the other Gaia kids but… that wasn’t their problem, they literally did not give a single shit, they don’t give a shit about most things unless they directly affect them or the people they care about. Not like they were Mx. Popularity either, right?
Shun’s reaching out to them during their murder trial sort of confused Tamaki because ‘Wtf, we don’t even know each other that well, why are you even bothering?’, and thus, they metaphorically smacked his hand away and just went ahead and voted for themselves. (Thanks, Tamaki!) They did give him even more few bonus points for the whole ‘No one here is truly innocent, we're all fuck-ups’ thing (like, they totally ran with that after their death), because 'ah yes, someone else clearly shares my views on humanity’, and I think they would have derived much more amusement from the whole ‘Did you get lucky?’ thing if they hadn’t been so close to dying, so there is that. And then they proceeded to kind of not think much about Shun outside of getting ticked with him for yelling in Italian during trial 9 because oh god, don’t yell in languages I don’t understand (said the same person who does the same thing in French). And then the tenth case came around, and…
…Tamaki really needed to hate someone. Their attitude towards the murderer (well, "murderer", in this case) was about the same as it was in case 6 - ‘I don’t know who did the thing, but I automatically hate them and wish them nothing but ill for crossing me/crossing the people I give a shit about’. So as soon as it looked like Shun did the thing? Bam. Suddenly, Tamaki was summoning up tons of vitriol for the guy and was judging him for things they just went ‘Okay, fine, that’s cool, I guess’ about earlier. (Read: the whole arsonist thing.) Two of their important people were dead (and as far as they knew, they had nobody else in the living world left, since hoping that their mothers were dead was less painful than the alternative at that point), the idea that both Imogen and Minako had thrown their lives away was looking more and more likely as the trial went on, and they feared that they were complicit in Imogen’s self-sacrifice and could have maybe prevented Minako from dying, so blaming and wishing harm on and hating another party was so much more convenient and easy for them and god, this kid is trash.
But those two important people still cared about Shun and were still sticking up for him. And Tamaki… the kid is honestly pretty damn loyal to the people they do care about and didn’t want to hurt and/or piss off their little sister figure or their girlfriend (they'd fucked up enough with the two of them anyway) too much, so they backed down and dropped the idea of revenge like a hot potato. (They wouldn’t have done anything to Shun after his death anyway - Tamaki Manabe is all talk on that front - but even so…) They didn’t care that much about Shun, but Minako and Imogen did, and that was enough for them to kind of… they still sort of blamed him for what actually happened, but they were at least able to cool down quite a bit and sort of realize that they couldn’t outright hate him and were being really fucking unreasonable. Also, some of the things Shun said towards the end reminded them uncomfortably of themselves, so there was also that. Ahahaha…
I think Tamaki would have made an attempt to let go of most of the ill feelings they did form towards Shun during those three months because hey, there’s no real point in grudging if the one thing they held against him was going to be fixed (even if that doesn’t erase the fact that it happened, mind), and that lingering ill will would be better directed towards other, vastly more deserving targets anyway. (Read: the masterminds and those connected with them.) I don’t think they’d be going out their way to approach Shun right away (honestly, I’m sure they just ignored him for a good while after he turned up in deadworld), but maybe in time? Who knows.
Also, I have this headcanon that Tamaki spent some of those three months studying Italian in the library because they were that hung up on not being able to get Shun and Nic’s Italian outbursts. Okay, Tamaki.
Tamaki considers Naoki to be one of the more tolerable students here and has since the beginning of the game. True, their initial impression of him was ‘creepy as shit’, and they haven’t dropped that assessment of him, but he was also really sensible in trials where other people were being too sentimental for their taste, he was perfectly decent company when they stood on the beach and smoked together, and he did give them their body pillow so they could realize their ridiculously stupid pipe dream of lighting it the fuck on fire. Also, he was cool about them stealing his and Aqua’s underwear on impulse and then hiding it in their top drawer for a few weeks (I still can’t believe they did this, and thank you for alerting me to the underwear so much), so there’s also that.
Does Tamaki consider Naoki to be a friend? Not really, although they definitely would at least call him an acquaintance of some sort if asked. (And now I’m thinking of how much I wish these two interacted more…) The two of them never got that far in the literary critic’s eyes, and as far as they know, Naoki didn’t feel any loss whatsover at their death. And if he didn’t, man, they totally understand that - if Naoki had died before them, they would’ve been ‘Eh, whatever, better him than me or the people who matter’, so… (God, this kid projects a lot.) Also, he has absolutely shit taste in boyfriends from their perspective (ah yes, another one of the people who seem to think this), and while they wouldn’t have minded hanging with Naoki more, it might have meant hanging with Aqua too, and yeah no. Actually, Tamaki doesn’t like the majority of Naoki’s friends. Sorry, Naoki.
Also, Naoki was one of the people who were shooting down the idea of sticking around and reviving the dead kids in favor of leaving and saving their own necks, and… let’s face it, if Tamaki was in Naoki’s position (and assuming at least a few of their important people were still around), they would have done the same without a second though, because Tamaki Manabe is selfish as shit and is willing to kick innocent people under the bus as long as they and their important people can live. (This… kind of showed in their murder, so…) But of course, with Tamaki being Tamaki, they completely failed to see things that way and immediately became bitter and just a bit resentful because that’s what they do best.
I don’t think Tamaki would ever deliberately seek Naoki’s company out or make attempts to contact him post-despair because ‘eh, he’s not important to me, and I’m not important to him, so no loss on either side’, so alas, I have no post-despair canons for them. Woe.
So, Lee. Tamaki knew next to nothing about her at first, outside of "Eh, she's my roommate, okay, whatever, maybe we'll talk sometime." They didn't even acknowledge her existence until the chapter one investigation, and that was only because they were convinced she'd done the thing and were prepared to see her dead by the time the trial was over. And then they did see her die, and it kind of fucked them up for a while. Why'd you have to go like that, Lee? You ruined their tights, damn it.
Despite being really obnoxious once Lee was officially outed as the game's first culprit, Tamaki doesn't hate Lee at all (they find her thoroughly tolerable, honestly) and never saw any real reason to. With a few exceptions, Tamaki had absolutely nothing personal against or even liked the murderers of the week, they just wanted them dead because anyone with a notch on their kill record was a threat, no matter who they were. And yeah, okay, they were standing there rolling their eyes while everyone was comforting her, but... they're an ass who began the game being completely out for themselves, so...
And as established in the dead blog, Tamaki doesn't begrudge Lee for being the first killer and don't understand why she thinks she started the game. Tamaki does think she killed for a bullshit reason, sure, but if she didn't kill for one bullshit reason or another, someone else would. Because you see, humanity sucks and is ninety percent shit and okay, whatever you say, Tamaki. Besides, if they're going to dislike anyone for starting the game, it'd be the... ones who actually started it, damn it.
Also, Lee was the first dead kid Tamaki interacted extensively with before becoming a resident of deadworld themselves, convinced them that yes, the dead kids were still around and Tartarus wasn't just on the fritz, and probably managed to beat Imogen to touching their butt, so there's also that.
Tamaki wouldn't mind getting a tattoo or several from Lee post-despair, in all honesty - they honestly do appreciate what they've seen of her work (well, the tattoos she made for herself), so why the hell not.
Tamaki is… they don’t actually dislike Chiemi at all, really. They weren’t ready to call her a friend by the time they died, but they didn’t hate her or anything. She’s one of the only Gaia kids they ever felt something remotely positive for (as opposed to out-and-out dislike or ‘meh, whatever’), so...
Honestly, Chiemi had quite a few things going for her in Tamaki’s eyes - she was a fellow smoker, she was willing to talk mastermind clues with them (even if Tamaki proceeded to be a shit and not share said clues with the class at large at her behest), she… they honestly really liked her general attitude and found her to be a genuinely decent conversational partner during the brief time they interacted outside of a trial. Well, they liked parts of her attitude, when she wasn’t being a “pissy brat”, because as we all know, Tamaki Manabe never, ever gets pissy ever and has conducted themselves with maturity and poise throughout the game. Whatever you say, Tamaki.
And then Chiemi did sort of try to take the fall for them during Nicanor’s murder trial using an explanation that left them slightly… baffled (Red paint? Using the cleaver like that by accident? You can’t even.. oh my god, what the fuck, Shinozaki?) And I’ll be honest, if Tamaki had not been so willing to jump all over martyrs in previous trials (if only because martyrs got in the way of killing whoever was actually guilty, alas, there were no noble motives for it), making the very action of supporting that behavior suspicious by default, they would have happily thrown Chiemi under the bus, using “well, she wants to die, and we need to discuss masterminds” as a smokescreen. (Pretty sure everyone would have called their bluff if they did that, but still…) God, Tamaki sucks.
But hey, that didn’t happen, so as far as Tamaki knows, they and Chiemi don’t have any particularly hard feelings between them. And hey, she was willing to actually stay behind and revive the dead kids unlike so many of those rotten, self-serving assholes, so that's automatic bonus points in Tamaki's book. They definitely wouldn’t mind meeting her over that smoke now that this whole mess is over, and they’re back among the world of the living.
Tamaki did not expect to get as attached to Minako as they did, they really didn't. Their first impression of her was literally "Ugh, god, so annoying, she's like a human Usami, I swear.", and I was pretty sure it was going to just stay there at first, and I think they were too (let's face it, they didn't see themselves bonding with anyone outside of the other jerkasses, and even then) and then, lo and behold, they interacted further, and their initial attitude towards her changed. A lot.
I'm really grateful for Tamaki and Minako's interactions throughout the game, because they brought out Tamaki's softer side and revealed that surprise, surprise, they weren't a heartless asshole, they were actually a gigantic tsundere who had a genuine soft side buried under all that snark. Something about Minako brought out their better qualities, even if Tamaki wasn't even willing to admit that to themselves at first and had to wrap up every nice thing they did as having some completely non-sentimental reason for it. Them, caring? Pffft. Pfffffft. Implying they're capable of such things!
But lo and behold, Tamaki did care about Minako, even if they found some parts of her personality to be annoying - but then, like they said, they saw her as a little sister figure, and don't all older siblings feel that way sometimes? They cared a lot, and by the time they admitted that to themselves, it was way too late. Her reaction to their impending execution hurt them deeply and helped make them actually regret becoming a murderer or at least not pushing to get someone else executed in their place, wow this kid is trash. They probably wouldn't have even considered getting in touch with the living either, were it not for her and Imogen because wow, why give a fuck about the living kids anymore, they're dead and all hate them anyway, right?
...and then of course, Minako and Imogen died in the same week, and Tamaki Manabe proceeded to flip the fuck out, give up on the living world, and proceed to be kind of an asshole, all while waxing on how much caring about people sucked. And when they found out why she died, they... were pretty upset, to put it lightly (both of the living people they still cared for essentially sacrificed themselves, and even if a good - and gross - part of them stubbornly blames Shun for the whole mess, they're still kind of... Tamaki is a bundle of feelings about the tenth case in geral), and I'm pretty sure they didn't snap at her for throwing her life away like they did with Imogen earlier was because they'd burned themselves out at that point.
Well, that, and when Tamaki Manabe gets so attached to someone, they find it difficult to be angry at them for long and will make exceptions towards them for so many things because that's how they roll. So there is that too.
Suffice it to say, Tamaki had Minako in mind when they mentioned "people who I think you living and I agree deserve to be brought back to life" during their endgame message thing, and they have no intention of losing contact with her post-despair. She is one of their most important people, after all, even if they didn't think she'd ever get to that point with them when they first met.
You know what, I'm jumping on the bandwagon, even if I probably won't have the time/energy to get to them all tonight. So send me a ☆ if you want to hear Tamaki's shitty, unwarranted opinions thoughts on your character.
I can tell you one thing about post-despair Tamaki - they're going to grow their hair out, probably a bit past their shoulders. They actually prefer having long hair anyway, they just had weird hang-ups about the possibility of people yanking on it/etc. like they did in the past, so...
Like, I planned on them doing this if they survived anyway, and they... well, they technically did, so yes. Long-haired Tamaki is post-despair canon.
