I went on a garden walk💐
Give me a slice-of-life anime that revolves around the story and domestic life of two elderly women who are married to each other. They live on the top of a hill speckled with trees and wildflowers, and they pass much of their time gardening, bird-spotting, baking, slow-dancing, and giving out candies. They have nothing but love for each other and for others, and people from all over the little villages below know the story of how they fell in love.
all i want in life is free time to draw, a stronk gf and to live in a forest
so a week into pride month & two women were beaten by a group of men for refusing to kiss in front of them so if one more gay/bi man says wlw being sexualized by men is a privilege or “not as bad” i will clock them in the jaw
i think it’s so wholesome that whenever me or my friends have issues w our plants 🌱 .. i always send my mom a pic and she gives us a diagnosis and what to do
had another plant problem so i asked my mom..
Plant not gay
Gays are happy
Why does she talk like some sort of hermit shaman who lives in a mossy cave
Hey so what if we just stopped conflating “self-care” with “self-comfort” because that self-care shit is actually HARD sometimes. Yeah yeah “Self-care is curling up on the couch with some hot cocoa and binge-watching your favorite Studio Ghibli movies” SOMETIMES but other times self-care is getting your ass out of bed, taking a shower and preparing a healthy meal for yourself instead of scarfing down junk food.
Clean your room. Work out. Eat a salad. Practice hard and arduous self-care don’t just pamper yourself and marinate in your depressive episode!
Life is about eating warm bread and biking to the library and making friends with bugs you find in the yard!

Protect weird girls. Ya know…. the ones that used to make up intricate games on the playground about ghosts and saving the world. The ones that used to have a whole BOX of fucking rolly pollies and worms. Those girls that used to have mason jars FULL of fucking god knows WHAT on their mother’s back porch. Protect… girls. Girls that daydream too much. Girls that could go out to Walmart dressed in cow girl boots, and a faux fur coat. Girls that invent whole other worlds in their heads. Girls that love too much. Girls that don’t love quite enough. Girls that don’t look, or sound the way society expects them to. Loud girls. Quiet girls. Angry girls. Sad girls. Support girls being themselves, and being unapologetic about it. The ones that get labeled “weird” for simply existing and being brave enough to not dim themselves down, just because society tells them, too. The girls that never lost their magic once they grew up. Support weird girls.
And yes, this does include trans girls.

So I used to have a Russian friend who had a pretty thick accent and like a lot of Russians tended to eschew articles. She would say things like “Get in car.” And stuff.
Well one day this asshole who had been kind of tagging along with us asks her why she talks like that because it makes her sound dumb and I still remember her response word for word.
“Me? Dumb? Maybe in America you have to say get in THE car because you are so stupid that people might just get in random car, but in Russia we don’t need to say that. We just fucking know because we are not stupid.”
One time I was proof reading a paper for a Russian student. As I was correcting her paper with her, the many mistakes in her grammar started weighing on her. I asked her what was wrong, and she said, almost sobbing,
“In Russian I am so intelligent and clear. In English I am like [an] idiot”
Respect to anyone trying to master a foreign language. I get so sad thinking about that student.
Full offense but people who make fun of someone else’s accent or belittle their limited vocabulary when they’re speaking a language not native to them are fucking disgusting and are just begging to be punched.
They’re speaking your language because you don’t know theirs. That’s not something they should be made fun of, it’s something that should be commended because learning a language is hard fucking work.
I hate people who do this so much.
Do you ever just… crave the forest? Like you feel like you NEED to be in a forest. The crisp cold air with just a sweater on, looking at the red and orange foliage in the autumn. In the winter the frigid and empty branches. The summer all the green. The spring the smell of rain and the mud. God I love the forest.
It was time for an upgrade! 🎨
