The contemplating
And many of them begin at that point to realize that perhaps a physical occupation would not be so bad

Gladdened though I am by the village's festivities, I would prefer that it carried not so far into the night. The minstrels doth tune their lutes to the max.
turns out there is nothing stopping you from making a pngtuber so you can rp working in a scriptorium
Moving medieval manuscript art!
An attempt to map out the abbey for some younger novices who keep getting lost hath shown me plainly that the Lord never intended for me to be a cartographer.

Attention, brethren and townsfolk!
Farnham shall be hosting a fair on the day of St. Barnabas (June 11th for the laypeople who may be unaware), and of course we shall wish to display the fine work of the monastery on this day, so all the residents of the monastery are invited on this day to, if they are so included, display some of their work, be it embroidery, spinning, illuminations, or something else. Laypeople are of course also invited to display their work at the fair, as are travelers from outside of Farnham if they have art of a ecclastical/medieval nature!
It is requested that those displaying their works label them with “#farnham town fair”, for the aid of organization and so that a collected list can be made of all of the works displayed
Such excitement! The fair doth come rarely. I shall have to prepare some wares to display.
My skill at finding mushrooms hath inspired many of the other nuns to jest about how I should discard my habit and take up the job of truffle hunter. I would begrudge them for it were I not so busy finding mushrooms.
Unexpected rain on my walk into town. Habit thoroughly drenched.
(Apologies as I cannot figure out how to change the blog that the ask is sent from- ‘tis Sister Rosalie)
I must enquire, Sibling: art thou a resident of Farnham? I see you frequenting the same conversations and town markets as the brothers and sisters and I, yet I am unable to determine if you, too, reside at Farnham Monastery
Good day to thee, Sister Rosalie! Though I spend much time in the same areas as residents of Farnham, I hail from a much smaller abbey nearby.
Shall I compare thee to some shit that's gay?
A woman of the town hath asked for my opinion of her garden.
What do I see upon first entering? Row upon row of tomatoes. Goodwife, thou hast not friends enough to grow them in such quantity.

Woe that I am out of wool, for my humors are sorely imbalanced and spinning is the best way to mend that.
(The doctors prescribe bloodletting, but that is because they know not the joy of using a drop spindle.)
Still out of wool. Humors still out of balance.
Coincidence? Nay, I think not.
