what if you were 40 and your career was taking off in a way you kind of never anticipated and you had to make sacrifices for that success that you weren't really comfortable with and you were getting married and premiering your movie and your childhood best friend keeps getting older and so do you and when you look at him you see your own age reflected back and it scares you so you find a younger version of him to look at instead so you won't have to think about it and all your films are about how it would feel to come home to a house that suddenly doesn't feel like your home and you don't recognize the things you've filled it with like you used to and it's all getting less familiar and things can never go back and in the movies it kills you but in your real life this is good this is what you asked for this is what you've always been working towards right? what then?

One of the guys is a creative who is very talented at his art form, but he doesn’t really get along with anyone and is misunderstood by his strict parent figure.

He meets the other guy who is more outgoing, silly, and also misunderstood by others for being different. He loves the first guys art and wants to work together to create something, and protects him from other people’s outside negativity.

The two of them are inseparable, staying up late playing around and joking together, and are so attached at the hip that they even sleep with each other.

They work together on their shared goal of creating art together, even when preposterous things are getting in the way of their biggest goal.

They also have a third friend who is quiet and films them while they get up to hijinks
