I’ve been kind of underwhelmed with this season to be honest. It’s like they went edgy and lost the charm of the first two seasons. I wanted more of this— more of the story of his life. I get that Lestat as a rockstar is a big part but it feels like there’s so much unnecessary uncomfortable stuff. I’m not talking about the allusion to the SA, I’m talking about the entire with Lestat’s mom. I haven’t read the book but she’s so obnoxious every chance she gets. It has great moments— great montages, then stuff that feels like it was indie made (not in a good way). Sam Reid is fantastic and I love all of his parts in this, but I feel like we’re being whipped around in a blender and it’s impossible to understand what’s going on. It feels like side quests just jumbled together. It felt like the first two seasons were high art in every way, and this season feels modern in the worst way. Ughhh and I am a ride or die Interview With The Vampire fan. I just want moreeee of the good stuff. Maybe we’re headed that way? Idk.

Bro I /know/ we’re not complaining about the Good Omens final when the Supernatural Finale exists. Let’s not forget the ancient texts. Good Omens finale was fucking fantastic in my mind, especially after having to deal with the creator being a freak and barely getting 90 min of content.

The Supernatural ending soured me on the entire show bro.
