I avoid interacting with the community aside from occasional comments because it's, in a, state to say the absolute least. But I noticed beings talking about a "documentary" again and I felt I could say a few things as advice for safety;

(feel free to spread this wherever, throwaway blog just for this post so I don't have a blocklist and might get got but if you think this is useful then by all means, use it.)

1: if you're scared you'll get targeted and banned; you can change your username to a keyboard slam, make a new blog, reblog all the posts you want to keep, and you'll be able to keep the same username.

2: You can go into your settings tab, scroll down and check visibility. You can shut down all of these, you aren't COMPLETELY unfindable but you cannot be found via your posts(unless someone w a public blog reblogs them ofc) or in search etc.

3: If you remember sharing private information that could be doxxing (area, legal name, birthday, etc) DELETE IT.

4: no matter your contact stance, do NOT answer any questions if someone asks you about your stance, especially with this going around. It doesn't matter what you say, *everything you say will be used against you and the rest of the community.* These kinds of things are not done with good faith intentions, especially seeing how it went last time.

In general; do not share about Anything that may be controversial in a legal sense to someone you do not trust to understand the nuance of your stance, even if it's something extremely minor, antis will do absolutely everything they can to take you down.

The idea of a new rq video is terrifying.. I haven't been in this community for long but I've heard of all the terrors that have happened because of stuff like this ૮๑ˊᯅˋ๑ა

I do not hate jessicur I used to be a big fan actually.. I just wish she could go about this in a different way.. I hate how people are sending her death threats but with her posting the video it'll have death threats be sent to us and then right back to her

It will just be a continuous loop of death threats and probably doxxing and that's why I think it's such a bad idea. I wish there was a better way to address things like this without everyone getting hurt in the process

in regards to the rentry i mentioned before: i’m trying to move the stuff over there, i really am! but because tumblr is such a dogshit place to store gifs, and since i have the most cluttered photos app known to man, i’ve had to remake or re-find a lot of the dividers manually (sometimes at a different, better resolution).

this ends up taking a bit of work, and since my motivation can be quite fleeting, it leads to me making only small amounts of progress at a time.

Like there is genuinely not a single argument against trace (that Ive heard or can come up with) that cannot be applicable to being transgender as well. It's a double standard I fully believe to be caused mainly if not entirely by discomfort and stigma around the topic of race in our society.
