How I happened upon fanfiction. It's kinda funny actually.
#It started with comashipping i came across an image of paul pinning ash to the ground while searching pokemon stuff on google#it was like a decade ago back then I had no idea fanwork existed so i thought this must be something that happened in the anime#so i searched on google “what happened between ash and paul”#and the result I got was a fanfic 'the love between ash and paul' by almostperfectsranger#it was mpreg with no explicit sex scene and a whole lot of fluff and love#it changed the trajectory of my life I may not have been the person I am today if I did not accidentally come across this fic#thank you almostperfectstranger#after that I fell deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole and now I'm a fanfic addict#i might've come across fanfic sooner or later but this specific fic was so full of love it made me into a m/m shipper and mpreg enthusiast#and I'm grateful for it I've been able to interact with a bunch of nice talented kind people becuase of my special interests#also does anyone know where I can find this palletshipping fic called “baby i'll be home for christmas this time next year”?#I can't find it and I want to read it again#i guess i wanted to write it all down#good job me!#i live for fanfiction on fanfiction#and i ship whatever has good fanfics#i'm always down for a good time with a gay story#i checked and it was AshKetchumForever who wrote the fic#Thank you AshKetchumForever#almostperfectstranger also wrote comashpping mpreg that I read#it's been a long time since I read this fic so I mixed things up I guess#I didn't get the fic in the results now when i searched on google I had to tack on 'fanfiction' at the end to make it work#and it's still here#now I probably won't enjoy it as much as I did the first time but it'll always have a special place in my heart#as some wise person once wrote the bond between a girl and the fanfic she read at 14 lasts forever
