I saw your blackwatch comic on webtoon and I kinda wanna do an original spinoff to some anime series. Can I get the ad revenue from doing that?

I don’t believe that legally you can (webtoons had said that you needed it to be a completely original series). But you can make a Patreon that supports the effort you’re doing to make the series! :)

Hello everyone! We are currently running a Kickstarter for our video game project, "Dark Harvest". It follows the story of two teenagers named Lloyd and Lily as they find themselves in Purgatory after dying, with the two of them unable to remember how. Upon arriving, they are informed by a being known as The Reaper he is the one who stole their memories and if they want a second chance at life, they must participate in the Dark Harvest. They must traverse Purgatory's labyrinths, creatures, and traps if they wish to return home, all for the entertainment of The Reaper. On their journey, they piece together who they once were, and slowly learn of why they ended up in Purgatory and how exactly they died. 

That's the basic plot of it, but to get the word out about the game and its Kickstarter, we are hosting an art contest! Below are the guidelines and rules, as well as how to send in your submissions, and the prizes!

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The rules on what to submit are fairly open ended. Your work must contain the three central characters doing whatever you want. The piece must feature the two protagonists, Lloyd and Lily, as well as the main villain, The Reaper. You can draw each of them in any scenario you want! Whether it be the three of them facing off, or a simple piece having each of them in a pose. Draw whatever you want! It must feature those central characters however. They are pictured below! if you want to know more information about the characters and even see a trailer for it, go ahead and visit the Kickstarter linked above!

WHERE TO SUBMIT

Email all submissions to [email protected] with a link to your work posted on your tumblr account so we know who to contact if you win!

The deadline is on April 21st!
