Night meeting

I was tagged by @insertmeaningfulusername​ to share my best works of 2020! I thought why not, since this might kick me into making something new soon! Also, I am already cheating since I did choose two works that are a bit older. 2020 did not treat me that well when it comes to my art. I also wanted to share the two from earlier since I really do love them and they did not get enough attention!! So I don’t take any complaints about the issue.

Rules: it’s time to love yourselves! choose your 5 (or so) favourite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought to the world in 2020. tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!

1. Anubis (here)

This is one of the older works from 2019, but I still like it. I’m happy how it turned out, especially the face.

2. Tiny Christmas dragon (here)

An older one from 2018. I love dragons. I love really tiny dragons. I should definitely draw more of them.

3. Mouse in a flower (here)

Finally something from last year!! I love how this turned out. It’s cute!

4. BONES (here)

It’s an animal skull! A fox, to be exact. I don’t know why I find it so relaxing to draw bones.

5. Till Lindemann (here)

Look, I’ve been a fan of Rammstein a really long time but I haven’t drawn any of the boys! Until last year. (I can totally say boy even tho he just turned 58, right?) I think this turned out okay. The mic stand is totally wrong but I did not look at enough references to understand the mechanics.

There you go. Look at me being a rebel. :D (Be gay do crimes.)

Oh thank you so much my dear nonnie! I know I’ve been a bit absent in here, but my resolution for the new year is to draw more regularly!

Inktober update

Uuh, so I am officially done with this year’s inktober. I managed to produce 15 out of 31 drawings. I have never managed to draw every prompt, so I guess challenges like these are not really for me.

I may draw something for some prompts later if I see something I like, but I’m not forcing myself to do it.

It’s not like I need any reasons to quit, but my mental health is not the greatest right now (my panic disorder is acting up), we had a death in the family this week, AND my MA thesis is in a critical stage. I’m trying to do everything at once and nothing is going as I wish.

Such is life! Oh woe is me!

My favorites were days 13 (Dune) and 4 (Radio). I hope you liked my inktober art! Feel free to share with me your faves, it might inspire me to draw something like that in the future. :)
