Betty and Angus would like to share a Growing Update! They are now Almost One Beverley each!
Day 1 & 2 of pony pride month! Starting off with the oldest example, "Wedding Prance", a porcelain figure from 1985 featuring Glory and Moondancer as groom and bride respectively!

That last one looks dope
Squares and rectangles: easy to weave!! No cutting means no hemming.
And easy to construct, you donโt have to have complicated seaming and patterning to turn fabric into clothing!

This sort of clothing solution wasnโt just for the Mediterranean, or northern Africa, either. Behold the Belted Plaid:

Has anyone already reblogged this with saris? Itโs cool how many cultures have similarities like this hidden in plain sight.

The lungi is a traditional garment worn in many southern states of India. It's different from the dhoti, in that it is a tubular shape (like
Since we are here might as well share the dhoti and the lungi

Itโs only men in the photos but really anyone can wear them. I am wearing a lungi right now.
I also know Thailand and Sri Lanka have their versions of a lungi as well.
cool so when does he die
that's a million million btw. that's ending world hunger and poverty forever. multiple times over.
But this is genuinely a shitty act against humanity.
Elon: โWe have to Re-populate the world.โ
But, Elon, solving child hunger is the obvious way to do that.
dont mind me. im scampering through your blog, giving all your good posts a little lick
Conservative beauty standards are back with a vengeance which means it's especially important to go out this summer with bellies out and bodies unshaved. Also be unapologetically disabled with mobility aids and wearable medical devices and stim toys and ear defenders and all that stuff. You need it. People need to see it. Everyone needs to be reminded that life is unquestioningly more enjoyable when you're not living inside an arbitrary set of rules created by people who are offended by all the wrong things.

Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's rude.
