hey guys !!!! please, please read this. it's important.

so there's a certain user on here called @/bingsuebing who has been stealing people's work, including mine.

I was first informed by the kind @revesephemeres who told me that the first post sue (the owner of @/bingsuebing) had copied was mine. a few minutes later, I received an ask from an anon also letting me know that sue had stolen my fic, along with some other writers' fics.

so, obviously, I went to investigate.

here are some of the fics I could recognise, and the users that sue was accused of copying by an anon :

this one by @like-a-pond and the copy

this one that I assumed would be by @morwap (i saw her mentioned in an anon's ask) and the copy

there were also way more. I saw around one that was poly!marauders and the rest were jason todd x reader.

I went to dm her to resolve things privately, but that didn't work out.

this is the first screenshot. my last reply here was answered a long time later, which wasn't the case with the other messages.

I decided to go to her blog and see what she could be doing, and then I saw that she had copied two more fics.

finally, she responded.

these were the final messages she sent. at this point, I had enough evidence, and I also didn't want to either be gaslighted or insulted again.

here are a few other things :

it's clear she thinks pretending will make the anons go away.

honestly, I feel like this is aphrodite (iykyk) who has come back to haunt us again, but honestly im not sure.

for now, I'll just monitor her blog (she hasn't blocked me..... yet).

please reblog this and spread it as much as you can. we can't let this slide. it's so disheartening to get your works stolen by someone else. we need to tell her this is unacceptable.

Hi yall, i'm back , this time with my submission for @cuppochino 's dtys!!!!

For some reason the colours look a lot more desaturated here, at least for me, no clue why.

I've spent 10 hours on this bad boy, which is a lot since most of my drawings take from 2 to 4 hours on avarage. But also i mainly work traditionaly so pulling out procreate once in a while can be a bit of a pain in the ass.

Regardless i had a lot of fun making it , so that's all that matters to me.

Edit: back the next day, i added in the details i forgot about last time and darkened some spots on 1x's armor that i considered too bland.

sorry to be negative on the dash but..... y'all need to be nicer to fanfic writers. we all know interactions are decreasing, and even during the nine months i've been on here, i've noticed a decrease.

tell writers you like their works. comment on their works, reblog their works.

some of you act so entitled, and idk if you've noticed but you're literally making writers miserable. it makes me so sad to see my mutuals deactivate because the joy of writing has been taken away from them by ungrateful readers who are constantly demanding more, more, more, to the point where people are experiencing burnout and anxiety because they can't keep up with the constant unrealistic demands.

reminder that even though it takes you five minutes to read 1k words it might've taken the writer hours to get the words down, proofread, edit, and make the perfect fic layout.

some of you complain that there are no "good" fics anymore, yet you do nothing for the fandom, do nothing to support writers and just hide behind anon and blank blogs, complaining about every little thing till you've driven all writers off this site.

it's so tiring. please be kinder. we're all trying our best here.

When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didn’t want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase “peanut butter cups.” (I’m happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now). 

I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didn’t want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didn’t know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked “Hey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?” And she said “I’ll be right there.” And she came and got me within minutes. 

Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didn’t seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldn’t worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only ‘woman’ around that wasn’t related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked “Next time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? I’ve been craving them.” And she came and got me, just like that. 

Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Don’t discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.

Off topic, but very important! I was taught to yell “this is not my mom/dad.” A young kid freaking out in public is likely to be ignored out of embarrassment, but a kid telling you right out that they don’t know who is messing with them? That will turn heads.

I feel like this should be said too if you see a child yelling things like “this isn’t my mum, or I don’t know you” or something don’t ignore them! This system relies on people actually helping the child! It dosent matter how rude you’ll seem or how anxious you are you could be saving a child’s life!

Even if you just ask the child “Do you know this person” if the adult butt’s in make sure to ASK THE CHILD! Even a shy kid will tell you they don’t know this person or just met them or something!
