Geez, you disappear for seven months and all the fuckin perverts come out of the woodwork.
sigmarickandmorty :
Sigma felt faint. This was wrong, this was all wrong. Bill had promised he would stay with him. He’d come after him when he ran away, he’d insisted on keeping them close. He made it seem like he was wanted despite what he was doing with Evil Rick.
There was a long silence as Sigma tried to weed out what he was feeling. He felt too cold. Everything seemed distorted and far away. One thought bubbled to the surface amidst it all.
He lied to you again.
“I…”
Sigma swallowed hard. They had a child together, what was he going to do about that? How was Morty going to feel, Morty had finally started to come around. It was beginning to feel okay and now…
“I did… Everything right,” he finally breathed, staring blankly at Bill. “I said… It was okay. I let you… I haven’t stopped you… I even met with him, we had dinner and talked, it was okay, it was finally starting… To be okay…”
“Was it really okay?”
He wasn’t trying to give an attitude, it was a genuine question. Bill shook his head. “… I know you let me, I know you did, but Sigma… You can’t tell me you’re happy with this. I know you’re not. Letting me do it and being happy with it… They’re completely different. And it’s not right of me to expect you to be happy with it. I never did expect it… And the more I realize you won’t be happy with it, the more I realize… That it’s cruel. To make you stay and endure it.”
He looked back down to the wedding ring still on his finger, and with trembling hands he slipped it off of his finger. This was painful, this stung… But for Sigma’s well-being, he had to find someone who didn’t make him feel this way. Someone who didn’t make him out to be second best.
“I am doing this because if I didn’t care about you I would give no regard to feelings and… I would continue this. This isn’t a marriage… This isn’t…” The words were beginning to back up in his throat, making his voice choked up, brittle and hoarse.
It all felt like a bad dream. Where was this coming from? Why was he doing this? Why would he say he loved him, marry him, cheat and beg him to come back only to walk away? Why was this happening?
Sigma gritted his teeth as he heard Bill choking up. He shouldn’t have been allowed to be upset like this, it wasn’t fair. None of this was right, it wasn’t okay, how was this supposed to be the solution to their problem when Bill had spent so long trying to keep him and telling him he loved him.
Slowly, he stood. He didn’t want to hear Bill say that it was over. He didn’t need to. Taking the box that held that stupid ring out of his pocket, Sigma looked down at it for a moment before setting it on the bar. “Here,” he murmured. “I don’t have any use for it.
Maybe there should have been more hurt or tears, but he just couldn’t muster them. He was so cold, he was numb, he couldn’t think or do much of anything. “Happy Valentine’s Day, I guess...”
Pulling his portal gun from his lab coat, Sigma punched in the coordinates for Bill’s cottage. He had to get Eldora and Morty.
@sigmarickandmorty : [ continued from x ]
Sigma glanced down at his phone, his heart clenching painfully in his chest. We need to talk was never a good sign. He glanced at the table full of gifts then back down at the coordinates he’d been given. Why. Why after all of this, after all his efforts was he going to do this to him?
He knew it had only been a matter of time. After all, Sigma wasn’t him. He wasn’t the right Rick, he never had been. He’d been a distraction, at best. His hands were shaking, trying to find their way to his portal gun. The last thing he wanted to do was go and meet up with Bill. He wasn’t ready.
[Text] Okay.
Taking a few deep breaths, Sigma tried to steel himself. He couldn’t be a mess when he stepped out of that portal. As he punched in the coordinates and opened up the portal, he squared his shoulders. There was no way he would let Bill see what a mess he was. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe Bill was calling him here for a surprise. He swallowed, stepping through.
It only took him a moment to find Bill.
“Hey…”
Cipher whipped around at the sound of his husband’s voice, giving him a weak smile and gesturing to the seat next to him. “…Want a drink? My treat.”
Sigma looked alright, but the worry in his eyes was evident. A pang of guilt shot through the demon’s chest. He hated to do this to him, he did… But he was already doing was far worse to this man by stringing him along when he didn’t mean to. The demon took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. This wouldn’t be easy, it’d be hard, incredibly hard. But he loved him, he loved his family. And despite his lack of experience, Cipher knew this wasn’t the way a family was supposed to work.
He looked down at his hands, his thumb fidgeting with his wedding ring. He swallowed before he spoke.
“Things have changed, Rick… I can’t say for sure whether it’s for better or for worse but I know that for you and the kids it’s been less than ideal… Far less…”
Finally his golden gaze drew up to meet the other. “I love you. And because I love you I can’t… I can’t bear to be the reason you hurt anymore. You, Eldora, Morty, Moticia… All of you.” He shook his head. “I have gone over every solution I can think of meticulously and I’ve come to conclusion that this… It’s unfair to keep you in the midst of all this. To make you feel like second best.”
Sigma felt faint. This was wrong, this was all wrong. Bill had promised he would stay with him. He’d come after him when he ran away, he’d insisted on keeping them close. He made it seem like he was wanted despite what he was doing with Evil Rick.

A Valentine || Drabble
@bill-rick
Sigma hadn’t seen Bill in a little while. But Bill had made a promise; he said they could have Valentine’s Day.
Even though Bill had lied about a lot of things in the past and Sigma was starting to regret believing him, he’d believed him this time, too. Maybe things would be different. Then again, Evil Rick needed him.

Bill couldn’t bring himself to go home. And on today of all days that was… Well the demon knew it was bad. He wanted to see his husband on Valentine’s Day, he did. It would be their first together. But after everything they’d gone through, everything that had happened, it didn’t feel right.
He told Evil Rick that he’d be gone for a few hours and would return to him. He didn’t say where he’d be going, his partner most likely assumed home. But instead he here was, sitting in the unfamiliar bar of a dimension he had never before visited, deep into his third glass of whiskey and all by his lonesome.
This day, supposed to be cutesy and admittedly consumerist celebration of love and affection was simply reminding him of all the things he wasn’t. All of the promises he couldn’t keep to himself or Sigma, what he had given and taken away. No matter how hard he tried, Bill was not capable of keeping two people happy.
Let alone one.
Tearing his golden eyes away from the reflection in the amber liquid, he set his drink back on the bar counter and whipped out his phone.
[ Text from Mi Sol ] I think we need to talk… Sending you co-ordinates.
Shoving his phone back in his pocket, Bill hunched over his glass, tapping his fingertips rhythmically against his forehead and waiting.
Sigma glanced down at his phone, his heart clenching painfully in his chest. We need to talk was never a good sign. He glanced at the table full of gifts then back down at the coordinates he’d been given. Why. Why after all of this, after all his efforts was he going to do this to him?

“N-not desperate, I-I’m just not shy about expressing my needs!”
"I guess that can be a good thing. No run around or confusion."

"You're working late," Sigma noted. He held out a take-out bag. "I was hoping you'd still be here. I brought you dinner."
Surgeon was very quiet for a moment…was this a trap? Nothing really indicated that this was a trap but…
“Uh…th-thanks…” he said slowly, taking the bag.
“Are you going home soon at least?” Sigma asked, taking the seat across from Surgeon’s desk and opening his own food.
“Kinda? I-I mean, I’m kinda here all the time,” he said. “I-I like working though.”
His words still seemed stiff.
Sigma began to dig into his food, pausing to swallow the mouthful. “You still mad at me?” he asked.
“Wh-what? No! I-I’m not mad!” he sat up suddenly. “That, that would be petty of me…”
He snickered, trying to play off like the day’s events hadn’t thrown him into a full blown tantrum.
Humming, Sigma shot him a smile. "That's good," he replied. "I can get pretty petty too, though... So I get it. I think it's a Rick trait."

"Y-you're not wearing your uniform," Surgeon quipped. "That's a paddling."
@surgeonslut
“I would honestly love to see you try and administer such a punishment.”
surgeonslut:
“I-i-if you can do, I can do it!” he said flatly, crossing his arms. Going over to his desk, he took his portal gun out of a drawer and produced a portal. He went through it, coming back a few minutes later in a simple sleeveless light blue dress. “There! S-since we can obviously just wear whatever we want!”
Truthfully he missed his uniform. It always made him feel really important and sexy. Still, he was not to be outdone, especially by the new guy.
Sigma shrugged, not completely sure how the rules worked around here. He was given a uniform and told to wear it but no one had bothered trying to enforce it, save Surge. “You look cute,” he complimented before heading for the door. “Good luck with Plague.”

Broken Pieces || Jeff & Rick || AU
*Jeff blinked in surprise at the question, he hadn’t even noticed Joanne’s reaction- or her in general- went he knew Rick was there. The baker’s attention had been completely on his husband. He laughed and shrugged.*
“If she was bitchy then I guess we know she likes me. I didn’t notice her at all. All the better reason for this arrangement then, working the register will be easy work for you, it’s important, and her being near you will get her either on the fast track out or to finally mellow the fuck out. “
“If you’re fine with it, that is. If you don’t wanna deal with that I understand.”
“Yeah, that sounds perfect,” Rick answered. He started to head for the door, smirking as he did. “You’d better come with and explain the situation to her so she doesn’t think I’m just butting in. She honestly looked really mad, it’s funny.”
"Y-you're not wearing your uniform," Surgeon quipped. "That's a paddling."

“I would honestly love to see you try and administer such a punishment.”
“Oh, I-I’m not gonna do it,” he grinned. He actually wasn’t sure if he had that authority. “B-but Plague will when he sees you not cooperating!”
Sigma smirked, amused. “Plague will..? That’s funny. I just saw Plague earlier, he gave me coffee even. Well.. It wasn’t from him.” He shrugged. “My point though? He didn’t care that I wasn’t in uniform.”
“What?!” Surgeon barked. “Wh-why not?”
That wasn’t fair! He had to wear his uniform! Well…he actually really enjoyed his uniform…BUT STILL.
“I dunno… Maybe he just respects me as a physician more,” Sigma quipped, giving Surge a cheeky grin.
“Well, maybe I-I’ll try changing my uniform then!” he sneered. He was the best surgeon in the Citadel, he would be treated as such.
“Won’t you get punished for it?” Sigma asked. “Oh please, don’t do that on my account.”
"Y-you're not wearing your uniform," Surgeon quipped. "That's a paddling."

Pick Up || Majick & Sigma
ricksmajicknstuff:
“Ahhhhh. I understand.”
*He grinned a bit when Sigma admitted that the rumors of his youth were based in fact. That got his attention. *
“Eh, that’s pretty much the bulk of the original gossip I’ve heard. The rest is just variations of that shit. But tell me more about these…periods of youth you have.”
*He leaned forward onto the counter.*
“Is it science or magic based? Or both?”
“Science, completely,” Sigma admitted. “I don’t know any magic.” Though after meeting a few magic-wielding Ricks he was starting to wonder if he didn’t want to. “Um... Why do you ask?”
"Y-you're not wearing your uniform," Surgeon quipped. "That's a paddling."
