I just found this video about new DooM. And you know what? I absolutely fucking agree with this guy. Absolutely.

You know, I was a fan of Quake and Doom since I was in school. Quake 2 was my first game, then there was original Quake, then Doom and Doom 2, Quake 3, etc. I didn’t quite like Doom 3, since it was trying to be a horror game. Which was very strange in my opinion.

Well... When I’ve seen the DooM Open Beta, first thing I did was reading reviews... I was horrified. “This game is not Doom”, “This is a Call Of Duty ripoff”, “Halo clone”, “Slow, ugly, uninspired” and more and more bullshit. And when i’ve tried to play Open Beta... Then i’ve seen how people are full of bullshit. All these negative reviews were fucking lies! All of them!

I don’t understand. Why gamers were so ignorant and stupid? Shit, man... I just don’t understand. It’s not even close to CoD and Halo, game is greatly optimised and really feels like old games plus some of modern convenient stuff (that is, by the way, can be turned off completely. Yes, loadouts, hack modules, glory kills - you can just disable them all, if you wish). But still people are spreading lies...

I would like to know if you like DooM or not, and if you don’t - why exactly you don’t like it? Please, don’t lie saying that the game is CoD or Halo’s ripoff. I played CoD and Halo and I just know this is bullshit. No offence, but really, I’m a gamer who plays games for a 15, almost 16 years. I’ve played lots of games and OF COURSE I played CoD and Halo (and I like them... Not all of them, of course, but some of games in these series were really good).

*TWD SPOILERS* Just completed "The Walking Dead: Season Two" by Telltale Games. And... WTF? Why so many players did kill Kenny? Hey, maybe he's not a good person, I admit. He's too emotional and stubborn as a mule. Actually, I can't even say I like him. But... Is Jane any better? She tried to manipulate Clem, didn't she? She made Kenny mad when she "killed" AJ with purpose to "let Clem see who Kenny really is". Who is Kenny then? A man who tries only to protect what's important to him? At this rate, IMO, Kenny is much better person than Jane. I didn't want her dead at all, but... There couldn't be another way. Jane brought it on herself. I regret nothing.
