One thing thats hilarious to me, is that for COI(Coefficient of inbreeding) it only matters how often is an ancestors on both sides of your pedgiree. Meaning if you take an horrible inbred horse and bred it with another horrible inbred horse but from a different line you get an almost not inbred horse.
Both Arathorn 65.48% and Belorath 30.96% are horribly inbred. For those of you who never worked with a COI, 25% would be the offspring of a ParentXChild or of two siblings. 50% would be the offspring of identical twins. So Arathorn is even above that, Belorath between that. Real-life breeders would probably aim for a COI under 15%.
But because they are both from different lines their child Cumbrael is only 1.19% inbred 🤣
