I think Ekko is one of the few people who are safe from the "scary dads" thanks to being Benzo's kid. Also, Ekko knows how soft they really are.

Part of the reason I love Timebomb is the way that Ekko and Jinx are equals. They're similar in strength, as smart as one another, Ekko also not being much taller than Jinx too. It's why it makes me uncomfortable when people mis-characterise the way they act.

Ekko isn't a hyper-masculine dude who is rough with Jinx. He's a kind, caring person who doesn't view her any differently regardless of the way she changes, nor even her gender. He accepts her for who she is and this is the reason Jinx loves him.
