everyone knows I am a lover of chicago style pizza and will defend it against haters who say it’s “weird” and “not even real pizza” but today I’d like to talk about detroit style pizza, also called Sicilian style

it has a super thick crust with a springy texture, like a focaccia. it is baked in a dish with high sides which was originally repurposed from auto industry drip trays and parts holders. don’t worry about it. the cheese and toppings go all the way to the edges so you may think, well where’s the crust part I use to hold it

the combination of the high sided baking pan and the cheese going right up to the edge causes a crust to form at the edges. and as you can see in this pic the sauce is frequently put on top of the cheese, meaning the cheese is baked into the dough and there’s no chance of it sliding off as you pick up your slice

this is probably my favorite preparation of pizza. I will pick this over a classic triangle slice every time

This is literally what people are talking about when they say AI will be used to mainstream widely held bigotry. LLMs are trained on frequency and probability -> straight relationships are more well represented in the dataset -> straight pronouns and terms become the "correct" normal.

This is a form of backdoor bigotry from both normative facts (there are more straight than gay relationships) and well represented bigoted beliefs (men are superior to women).

Combine this with the mass of people inclined to believe (and being encouraged to believe) that if AI says and does something it must be correct
