How to create a sinkhole, a guide in 5 parts:

Asphalt is poured over dirt. It dries and hardens, becoming a solid layer

Due to erosion, cracks begin to form. Sufficiently large cracks cause the asphalt to come apart, forming holes

Left unattended, the dirt in these holes is exposed to the rain and winds and slowly drained out of the hole and/or further into the earth

Heavy rain, storms and gusts of wind will erode the dirt much faster than the layer of saphalt above, effectively digging the hole deeper. The damage is covered by the asphalt and unnoticed if there's no maintenance

This happens until the solid structure covering the (now cavernous) hole is no longer sound and collapses under its own weight

I don't have enough info on this particular pothole to know why it grew so fast, but my guess is that a busted pipe somewhere underground had been eating all that dirt for a good while and may have even caused the pothole itself.

I’ve been watching talk shows all my life like Ricki Lake,Jenny Jones, Jerry Springer, Tyra, Oprah etc but nothing is more entertaining than watching Wendy Willams talk out of her ass for twenty minutes she don’t even be reporting the story correctly and will talk about her cats for ten minutes but it’s still better than every single day time talk show that’s currently on the air
