I really wanted to love this show. It starts off in a way that I don't like, as it's more of a tell > show. But I do find it entertaining, and I like the variety of voices. It also does pick up in the last two episodes, and that's when I started to like it more. Which is unfortunate since a second season was announced but never released.

Music, obsession, madness. An academic driven to the brink.
Finished my re-listen to Blum and I’m glad I did because I wasn’t paying a lot of attention the first time.
Veryyy similar to The Black Tapes and TANIS. The setting and ambience is right up my alley. Bit of a slow start but I do like a slow burn and it’s a very enjoyable listen. I personally like this style a lot and the tension is juicy.

my humans are space orcs are popping off so:
Humans are space orcs : Omnivores
Humans, are the only species to eat meat as a regular part of their diet and be classified as intelligent. Technically, humans are classified as omnivores, however humans eat plenty meat alongside plants.
Humans consume food through a large cavity in their head, with specialized bones coated with enamel in order to cut, crush and tear. The cavity itself is referred to as a mouth, and the specialized bones within are referred to as teeth, with the singular version being tooth. It is notable that these teeth are the main way of consuming things for mammals.
We can compare human teeth to other animals. Humans have canines, which are absent from herbivores. Canines is the term used for the for sharp teeth next to the incisors, and are used for tearing, only needed for meat eaters. Canines are most often found in mammalian predators. However, human molars, the large teeth in the back of the mouth used for crushing foodstuff, are notably more dull than carnivore teeth, but sharper than herbivores.
This duality shows that yes, humans do eat meat, but it shows that they are omnivores. Despite being classified as apex predators, meat is in no way absolutely necessary for the human diet. Attempts to convince humans to switch to an only plant based diet have mostly failed.
Another piece of evidence that points to humans being omnivores is that they have powerful acid in their stomach. This acidity allows for a wide range of things to be consumed, and for humans to eat some poisonous material, which is another story.

Qifrey: Welcome home babe guess what
Olruggio:
Olruggio was having a normal day three hours ago. He was coming home after a long day at work looking forward to seeing his husband best friend and eating a warm dinner. Pat the kids on the head and then go lie down. NO Qifrey says I have obtained another child she's a part of an active criminal investigation and a sign that I am dipping back into my worst destructive behaviors that you thought I'd set down years ago you have to be okay with this right now or else I'll lobotomize myself. Also there's a rat in the living room.
I didn't realize how starved I was for a depiction of girlhood in anime that was not for the male gaze until I started watching Witch Hat Atelier.
I find myself subconsciously bracing for a voyeuristic camera angle or inappropriate interaction, and I feel a huge sense of relief when that doesn't happen. And then I get mad that I've been conditioned to expect that in anime about young girls.
In conclusion, I love Kamome Shirahama, and I love women in media.
The anime is wonderful.. I am so inspired! i needed to finish this right away!!
SCROLL BACK THIS IS NOT A CLIP FROM THE ANIME!!! THIS IS FANART!!!!
