My friend blessed me with a photo of this little grumpy creature. I felt the sudden urge to doodle it. Happy hatch day to that fascinating specimen.

Happy to update that this fascinating specimen successfully fledged a few days ago. He was identified as a male when he was banded by conservationists, and was last seen (by me) today, chilling out on a high rise in a large city in Alberta, still being checked on by his mom and dad. :)
