Neil Gaiman survivor Kitty Kendall/"Claire" posts a statement on charity donations (please share!)

for the monthaversy of the good omens finale, i wanted to share some information regarding the man who wrote it. if you’re new here, neil gaiman is facing some very serious sexual assault allegations. here is a comprehensive article about what happened, and here is a link to the podcast where several of the women came forward (cw: sexual abuse and child abuse).
if this sort of content is too triggering for you to read about (and of course that’s okay) just know that it was beyond bad. just some really really vile, horrific stuff. neil gaiman continues to deny these extensive and detailed claims and is seeking revenge via lawsuits, because he doesn’t know when to quit.
it seems that a lot people aren’t aware of this, but false allegations are EXTREMELY rare. it takes massive amounts of strength and courage to come forward about this kind of thing, not to mention endure the backlash that occurs afterwards. nobody wants to go through that, especially when there’s a rich and powerful man involved. it’s brutal and it’s terrifying.
the best thing you can do is accept allegations as truth. yes, every time. yes, even when the perpetrator is your best friend or a celebrity you love. that’s what believing survivors means.
the incredibly brave women who came forward (and there were nine of them. nine. think for a minute about nine different people you know. that’s how many) are valuable, and their stories have meaning and importance. believe them. you can make such a difference.
i know MANY of you that have already made generous donations to charities that support survivors, but if you haven’t yet, i recommend our voice! our voice is a fantastic organization that i can vouch for personally, and it’s also the organization that neil gaiman himself said he would donate a large a large sum of money to and then never did. seems like a great way to help patch the hole he left in so many people’s lives, don’t you think?
anyways. take care of yourselves. life is hard and cruel sometimes but we are so much stronger as a community. keep fighting, keep standing up for those who need it <3

In light of the no.1 trending topic on this site, I'd like to inform youse that Kitty Kendall, one of the survivors who bravely spoke out against Neil Gaiman and accused him of rape in 2025, has said here and here that if you are looking to support her and other survivors, you can make a donation to OurVOICE (the counselling service Kendall herself used) or your local rape crisis centre. If you can't make a donation, you can help to ensure people do not forget what Kendall and other survivors have gone through and continue to go through as they pursue legal action, and that Gaiman has already spent a lot of money in the attempt to sue these women for speaking out.

for anyone who watches good omens and is unware, neil gaiman has been credibly accused of sexual assault by multiple women. there are several articles and interviews on this if you need more details. for the lazy, i have screenshotted everything listed on his wikipedia page at the time of writing this post.
i would strongly urge any and all of you who are engaging with this show to disengage because it is financially and socially supporting a man who is (credibly) alleged to have victimized multiple women and will use all proceeding financial gains and clout to put them through even more legal hell than he already has.
No, you know what? I'm deleting my good omens posts because I don't wanna fucking contribute to any attention the shows gets on this fucking site. It's not even worth it to hatewatch like yours truly. Neil Gaiman is a fucking human trafficking rapist and it's actually insane that his name--not GO3, but actually NEIL GAIMAN--is trending right now. Good god. Anyway. Believe victims and may NG die and rot in hell forever.
I need people to understand the severity of Neil Gaiman's crimes. He raped and trafficked women using his ex wife to scout them out for him. He has allegations of other sex assault and harassment going back to the 1980s. There are allegations of people knowing about his behavior enough to have handlers for him at conventions. He did sex acts in front of his child with his victims. He was aware enough he was abusive to hire a questionable therapist for victims and to threaten suicide if they went to the police (thanks Technopathology for proving he did abuser tactics while trying to proclaim his innocence you stupid fuck) This man is a genuine monster and financially supporting him is making sure this keeps happening because I highly doubt he'll stop.

idk how anyone can be excited for good omens when money and attention are being given to neil gaiman. it's his writing, his project, his book. his name and legacy are going to be all over it still, no matter how far removed he is from the production aspect.
also, i truly do not think there's a way they could wrap up this series in a way that wouldn't give him anything- they really should have just dropped it. so many shows have been left on cliffhangers for less severe reasons, this could have been abandoned too. i don't care about the heartbroken fans, they can cope. i don't care about it finishing to honor terry pratchett, there are many other ways to do so without supporting gaiman in the process. there are very real victims involved in this. we should all care about them.
if you plan to watch the new season, go read the specific details of the allegations against gaiman and then decide if you can still stomach supporting his creation.
