Hogwarts Castle Sims 4 (NoCC) Preview
I’ve embarked on a massive project building Hogwarts Castle in Sims 4 using the new terrain tools (seriously 100hrs. and counting). This build will be available for download on Friday 3/8/19. While I put on the finishing touches here are some key build notes/details~

This Hogwarts version does NOT require any CC! However to compensate, it does require a lot of the packs. I may do another version that contains CC in the future, but wanted to start without to make it accessible to more players. See above for list of packs used.
I build with A LOT of detail that will likely be lost if you don’t download with the all the packs. BEFORE downloading, enable the move objects cheat (bb.moveobjects) when placing lot to ensure no detail placement is lost.
Hogwarts Castle is a fictitious structure with a layout that changes over the course of the books/films in addition to containing magic (great hall enchanted ceiling, actual moving stair cases, etc.) that I can’t replicate in the Sims. While the 64 x 64 lot size is quite large, it pales in comparison the actual size of Hogwarts with the further restriction of a 4 level maximum. The terrain tool feature helps this a bit, but many of the rooms are located in different places and may be smaller than in the books/films to best accommodate these building restrictions.
Stairs… I had to make a lot of room/space sacrifices to accommodate straight stairs and some of the towers are inaccessible due to incompatible stair space. So until EA finally comes out with an l-shape/spiral stairs patch like we’ve all been waiting for - I did my best. The room of requirement is in one of these towers which thematically works out being inaccessible (trying to stay positive here).
Some of the dungeon levels contain areas your Sims can’t access. I did this on purpose since many of the rooms in Hogwarts contain obstacles to protect magical objects/rooms. Your Sim *can* technically access these areas, but you will have to move room objects (like the king/queen chess pieces) in build mode first.
I wish I had more build mode items but may create a CC version. (Any CC content suggestions for when that happens?)
If I missed anything, let me know! This is a huge build I’m sure there are overlooked areas.
