1813M has made a survey. He is interested to see which minority groups typically overlap with the alterhuman community.
He tried to include as many as possible, but he is sure there are some missing, and he apologises for that. Hopefully he has included enough.
He is very autistic about statistics and numbers, so he would appreciate as many responses as possible.
He may create a survey for adults only to see how many beings here are kinky and/or paraphiles, because he is very interested in that data as well. He is not sure how he would make it 18+, however, and would not be comfortable with minors participating.

I saw a post about being a guard dog/creature alterhuman and wanting to sleep on the floor by the bed of those they love or want to protect and it recovered some early memories of mine.
When I was younger, starting around 8 and ending around 12 or 13, I often would enter my mother's room to guard her. I wouldn't say anything to her, if I did it was small talk, then I'd just lay on her floor at the foot of her bed silently. She works night shift, still does, so she'd sleep during the day most of the time and I'd nap on the floor or just lay quietly for a few hours.
Around those same ages, I'd also often sleep on the floor even in my own room. I'd sleep right between the wall and my bed or under the dining room table.
It's nice to remember these things, a kind of reminder that I've always had these behaviors and urges.
It actually makes sense why I've been having those intense "domestication urges" lately. I can no longer do these behaviors so I guess my brain is experiencing rather extreme withdrawl..

Not enough stories with disabled protags who were once independent loners and abled struggling with their new reality of relying on others. Where is the anger? . Where is your rage? Lets scream abt it. Rage rage rage.
Theres too much tip-toeing around the writing of violatile emotions for my liking when its part of the grief for your own body/ability. Grief thats mistaken for ungratefulness. Whatever.
Im gonna be so real i think that people are scared to show anger from disabled people bc they are scared of seeing disabled people through a lense of the average person.
They think the most saintly thing you can do is care for someone disables but don't care about the emotions the disabled person themselves feel. Once you reach a certain threshold of disability, people stop seeing you as on the same level of humanity as everyone else. So the thought of a disabled person actually having negative emotion towards this help is shocking to them.
Sympathy is handed out to those exhausted and hurt from having to care for disabled people (which is fine), but not those whom may be in the process of mourning their own bodies/ability/mind. We can show a nurse/doctor having a breakdown, have entire genres of show and movie and book revolve around it, but if a disabled person lashes out thats seen as something much crueler in the eyes of the typical viewer. Its spoken about in the same vein of a dog who bites and thus "needs to be put down".
Why? Why? One day that could be you. You are not safe from one day becoming disabled. Nobody is.

Between tasks at work I’ve been writing small snippets of a story. It follows a pack of werewolves who find themselves separated and must find each other again. It’s written in an RP-style with POV’s of each wolf. Very alterhuman coded (naturally).
I was thinking of sharing it here, maybe serialised in short chapters. I’d love to create art for each chapter too. Would anyone want to read it?

Hey. If people aren't aware, Microsoft admitted they know who you and where you are at all times and will give your info to the police.
They have a Global Device Identifier (GDID) Tracker that functions as a fingerprint for your PC that can surpass VPNs, proxy servers and countries. Although it can't survive a clean reinstall of Windows (it can survive updates), because Microsoft forces you to go to the internet and log in into a Microsoft account, they will be able to get to you.
Microsoft kept it secret and it was only found out when the FBI tracked a hacker thanks to the information Microsoft gave them.
You should be paying attention to this, and possibly consider moving away from Windows. If a government, especially the US government, doesn't like you for some reason, this could be seriously concerning.

Then there’s activation. Massgrave, the group behind Microsoft Activation Scripts, notes that Windows setup sends hardware info to Microsoft and gets identifiers back, the same tokens later used for Store access and licensing: “It’s impossible to prevent Windows from getting a GDID without breaking activation and UWP app[s].” Anyone who lost a license after swapping a motherboard has already met a smaller version of this.

You can get and use windows 11 without logging in with a microsoft account, as of five days ago. I am a local user on my computer. Don't ask me how to do it, because my computer repair guy did it when he reinstalled windows, but there are tutorials out there. Refuse to connect to internet until you're set up and can use the computer freely.
Refusing to connect to the internet doesn't help. You have to open a Command Prompt (Shift+F10) and typing start ms-cxh:localonly (and pressing enter) during installation when you get to the sign in/create stupid ms account screen

Unless there's really really specific reasons to subject yourself to windows, please consider installing linux mint instead.
but there actually are some social cues that can be taught. like the obvious one is when someone says “how are you” they usually mean “friendly noise” and are not actually asking how you are, although some people ARE genuinely asking how you are and it’s usually up to the context of your relationship to determine the difference
also that apparently “when you get a chance” usually means “when you take a break from the thing you’re immediately doing” and not “on a list among various other things you are doing today or tomorrow”
and when someone says “i’ll let you get going” they mean “please leave”
