Lilia couldn't help but notice the way this other person got...rather uncomfortably close to you, in his opinion. Almost by instinct, the fae found himself floating directly behind you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders with his head poking out from behind you and pressing his cheek gently against yours.

"I'm sorry, but I do believe this one is taken!" Rollo raised an eyebrow before holding up his handkerchief against his nose, scowling at the fae.

"You cannot own a human. They are not object to be had, I believe." He grumbled from behind the tissue, eying Lilia whose eyes remind bright and positive per usual. He knew it was silly to be arguing with a student of all people over the affections of his lover, but he couldn't help but feel that Rollo did not intend on backing down around you. He had a bad feeling inside of his chest, and the old general's gut feelings were never wrong.

"Ahaha!" Lilia laughed exasperatedly, "Let's go, my beloved bat," He emphasized, leading to turn you away from the obviously annoyed student in an attempt to avoid any further confrontation. You raised an eyebrow at him although allowing the fae to lead you afar.

"Are you jealous?" You cooed, Lilia raising an eyebrow at you with a smile calmly painted upon his features.

"Of course not. I am confident in our affections in one another," He confidently said.

He was not a very good liar.

It was painfully obvious the way he would always be by your side or conveniently have an excuse to pull you away whenever a conversation sparked between you and Rollo. Lilia made it a point to distract you- handing you cute knicknacks he found in the city, feed you some local bread while staring Rollo down, and overall be...well, petty, for lack thereof better words. It was constant, all day. He was clinging to you and showing a side to him you have not seen before.

Upon returning to the chambers that you shared with your lover, Lilia took the opportunity to push you against the bed and nuzzle himself into your warmth. You could feel the guilt radiating off of him, the fae groaning in annoyance.

"That was unbecoming of a fae my age," He murmured, "The things you do to me, little bat..." You let out a hearty laugh and raised your eyebrows at your lover, playfully hitting him on his back.

"Don't blame me for your possessiveness! But I don't really blame you. I could tell Rollo harbored some sort of crush on me, and I was kind of put off at his side comments about magic users and fae. So I guess your actions were justified. Although..." You pulled him away from his hug and looked him in the eyes, "I would think my boyfriend would have more faith in me."

"Oh hush your squabbling, admit it, you were smitten with my outward displays of affection~" You smiled playfully and looked away from him, pretending to be in thought and humming thoughtfully.

"Hmmm... I suppose I did," You looked back at him with a toothy grin, "It was cute." Lilia let out an amused chuckle before capturing your lips with his own, pushing you back down to the bed and placing himself on top of you.

"Faes love tends to be intense, you know. Such is their jealousy," He said to you with his forehead pressed against your own, staring lovingly into your eyes, "Best prepare yourself, my darling." He swooped in for another kiss.

"So you admit you were jealous?"

"Nope."

"Lilia!!" You burst out laughing as he peppered your face and neck with kisses and love bites. His love was intense, but that was only one of the many things that you love about this fae <3

notes: doing this thing is healing sigh. so, here they are. some paragraphs full of love for them. warning: none, fluff of soft smitten™ boys, established relationship, pro/post canon au, reader's gender unspecified, mention of marriage on reo's part.

isagi knows this will make him sound like a neighborhood grandpa even though he is not, but he really enjoys afternoon walks with you. he loves holding your hand, walking around the familiar scape, and watching the lighting light every contour of your profile. sunset, moonlight, daylight—he really doesn't care, it's all different but all pretty to him all the same. he usually doesn't talk much during this, either letting the pleasant silence grow on its own or having you fill it with your musings. he will still listen though, so just let him enjoy his downtime with you in his own way. enjoy his company, his soft smiles, and the way he will stare at you as if you are the one who draws the stars in the sky.

reo, after he starts dating you ("with marriage in mind," he will always add at the end), always buys a jacket or a coat based on "how good and cute you will look in it". of course, he still buys you your own set of ridiculously custom-made jackets and coats. but, what use is his outer if it doesn't make you look soft when it got draped on you? is it really good if you don't look good in it? the only ones that got exempted from this rule of his are the ones you bought for him—and even then he will still have a critical eye plus a hand on his chin if he thinks it doesn't suit you. "for future reference" or so he says. though, hey, at the very least reo is good-looking enough that 90% of outfits fit him without much thought, at least? so it's no harm. just let him spoil you, for his sake too.

nagi likes it when you draw on his hands. at first, he really doesn't get it and lets you do it because "stopping you is a hassle". but at some point, it just becomes sort of a ritual and lucky charm for him before matches. so, like a child with an x for a mouth, he will cling to you and demand his lucky charm. then fast forward and at some point if you try to do it to someone else you will get a pouting brat. if you try to draw on your own hand out of boredom while he is beside you, he legit looks so offended. "you have me???" is somehow written in his blank stares. at least, if you doodle on the paper, he will settle with only looking, just don't forget to draw some stars or flowers on him too soon though.

bachira will pull a goddamn concert if you cry just to cheer you up. a bad day so bad you cry the moment you enter your home? don't worry baby, bachira meguru is ready to sing, dance, make you laugh, and dribble a soccer ball all at once. most of the time, you laugh simply because the things he will pull are so unexpected, but bachira will take that happily. he really just doesn't look like seeing you sad and when he once said (repeatedly, actually) that your smile is one of the most precious things to him, he means it. and, if he fails, bachira will still be there as your personal comfort monster! providing from 10 out of 10 cuddles to sweet treats!

You're trying to get up from their grasp to bring them breakfast in bed, like a sweetheart. But Jade has his arms wrapped around your waist and head in your neck, while Floyd is hugging your hips and snuggling into your belly, legs tangling up with yours. You're effectively trapped. It takes some maneuvering, and giving Floyd a pillow to squeeze. Jade does wake up when you just manage to get Floyd to curl in Jade's side, still hugging the pillow. He asks what you're up to, a bit upset as he's not a morning person at all, and he just wants you to be at his side when it's so early. You managed to assure him that you won't be long and lull him back to sleep.

It takes about half an hour to get something going, a simple breakfast with some savory mushroom congee for Jade and waffles with syrup and toppings for Floyd. You even managed to make them lattes with very shitty foam art! Getting back into the room quietly enough to not wake them is a mission in itself, but you somehow manage, noticing that Floyd had moved to splay himself over Jade, a hand over his brother's face. After taking a quick picture, you carefully place the tray of food on the nightstand, crawling on the bed to the twins to carefully shake them awake. Their morning has a delightful start as they curl around you as you hand feed them bits of the breakfast. Floyd at least, Jade is still not a morning person and content to cuddle into your side while Floyd happy feasts.

Floyd traces them.

Gently pressing his finger into your skin, chuckling at the way it sinks it ever so slightly. Dragging his hand across the length of those marks on your body. He traces them with a somewhat amused air, as if he was drawing a line between all the dots.

Almost like those old connect-the-dot picture books for children. You could feel the chill of his nail, skating from one mark to another. Connecting all the marks engraved into your body, trying to make sense of them all.

If you try to shake him off, or cover them up, Floyd’s whining away. His lower lip juts out in a petulant pout, shaking your arm until you let him continue. If you ask him why he does it… well, Floyd doesn’t really have a proper answer to that!

It’s nice feeling your skin under his hands. It’s like flipping the pages of a book, Y’know? Looking at all the underlined words, the little annotations… feeling the little creases left from the owner dog-earring their favourite pages… little things like that. The loving marks of a book read over and over again.

These scars and marks, they all tell stories, don’t they? The grand saga of shrimpy throughout the ages!

Besides, you’re warm. Warmer than anything else in this great wide world, so let Floyd cling onto you, yeah?

Rook likes looking at all the marks on your skin.

It’s fascinating, truly. You catch him staring a little more than he should, but how could Rook ever tear his eyes away? It’s you, after all.

He watches them stretch and wrinkle with every movement, etched onto your skin like carvings on marble, dug into the stone with determined hands. Sometimes, Rook even shows you his own. Rolling up his sleeves to reveal arms scratched and gnawed at, faint white lines running jagged through his skin.
