Every hallucination/muse lestat has seen has come and gone within pretty much the same episode, walking out of a door or exiting the scene, and with that their time as a hallucination. Magnus came and went, Louis and Claudia exited their scenes. But Nicki has lingered since he first appeared.

He’s in the background of most of Lestats scenes and sometimes in forefront. In the beginning he was silent and smiling, then he began to speak, throwing jabs at Lestat. Now he’s yelling at him and still ever present in the background. Why?

I’m thinking that Lestat is denying the impact of Nicki’s love and his relationship with him because it’s tangled up in the abuse that he suffered at the hands of Gabrielle. He calls Gabrielle his great love and implies his first. Taking those titles from Nicki has caused his hallucination to mock him for it. I think that Gabrielle’s continued presence in Lestats life right now is what is causing Nicki to linger. As Lestat hopefully begins to untangle the abuse he’s suffered from Gabrielle, maybe we will see him have a reckoning with his love for Nicki.

Hallucination Nicki in episode four was with Lestat the whole time in the present day except for the two times Lestat was interacting with Armand in the tour bus and then later at the concert. Hallucination Nicki was even present at the record label meeting/party when Lestat and Daniel were arguing. What’s that about?

Armand was present at the concert as well so the only times Nicki wasn’t present with Lestat in episode 4 was when Armand was around. HMMM

The Pitt may be one of few shows we’re the binge streaming method is the more effective way to get the audience to understand the point of the show taking the course of one day. (I like week to week cause the show lasts longer BUT)

When you watch the whole show of multiple episodes back to back you get a feel for just how much everyone went through in just one day so by the end you understand their burnout far better.

The seven are the most important political force on the continent and also keep Davos alive so that’s nice.

Rhllor’s whole purpose seems to be to stop the long night but his strongest prophet cannot correctly interpret her own visions to accomplish this goal because her worldview is too skewed by the trauma she has incurred from being sold to God as a slave.

The ritualistic drowning/cpr revival the drowned god does is awesome as was inventing democracy. I don’t think it’s ever managed to make anything good happen.

The old gods the protagonists all worship being blood hungry and kind of evil is so so beautiful I hope jonsnow gets to tear someone’s throat out next book

Valyrian trait only, does NOT apply to other blond people ie Lannisters. Shaving Cersei and Tyrion makes them more evil (expected) whereas shaving Jaime makes him less evil (outlier). Tywin was already bald and evil (he wears a bald cap over his bald head), and shaving Lancel makes him Catholic (canonically gave himself a tonsure, loser/inconclusive). Stannis is like 1/4th Targ and being bald just made him an accountant but that’s because he wasn’t blond

I think that if there’s a way out of the circus Kinger has to be the answer or knows what they need to do. It’s very interesting that the whole escape was a trick but for some reason Caine wanted Kinger pretty much entirely left out of it. Multiple times Abel tries to pivot around including him. Then at the end of the episode Kinger has the moment of clarity about the first abstraction. Caine didn’t want want him there cause Kinger knows *something*…

They just really need to ask him questions finally.. please? Please I’m begging??
