cross race relationships in lost ark would be so heartbreaking

Like imagine a human and an sylvain falling in love but when that human dies the sylvain will be alone for hundreds of years.

Same with lazeniths (if they're ever allowed to leave elgacia), anyone who falls in love with them could just suddenly lose them the day their destiny is fufilled

Falling in love with a delain and never knowing when they will become corrupted, and if in their madness they'll kill you, or you'll have to kill them

adding more to that, in that long ass south vern quest where you have to help haiger, it mentions that his daughter was born weak and frail because the mother's, who is a sylvian, magic was fighting the fetus.

so that got me thinking, how about children born of parents who are not of the same race? how many complications would there be during pregnancy? and would the child even be healthy by the time theyre born?

children of a sylvian x human couple aside, children born of a delain x any race really is pure pain itself because of what delains already have to go through. complications during pregnancy likely could happen because just like sylvians, a delain's power might fight the fetus because their body might think the baby is a danger to the mother. even if everyone is healthy and alive, imagine the pain a delain child would face if theyre born outside of feiton or kuzran. (see: armen) the prejudice delains face on a daily basis would be extended to the child just because they are part delain.

also on the lazenith point... we don't have elgacia yet so im just spitballing here but... lets say a lazenith falls in love with someone and that someone happens to be so crucial to their destiny that if that person dies, they can never fulfill their destiny.

lazeniths being cursed to live forever because they failed to protect that one person they're supposed to give their everything for. not allowed to die and perhaps see their love in the afterlife because of their mistake.
