“Everything you’re saying is just making it seem more and more like you were thinking dirty things,” he smirked. “You know that you can tell me anything, right? Especially anything that liberates you and makes you feel sexy. Never be embarrassed about the naughty thoughts,” he grinned, kissing the side of her head. Arthur chuckled. “Oh, fuck yeah, I already know you’re going to be my lifelong partner. We’ll do the whole married-with-kids shebang one day,” he informed her. 

Artie chuckled. “You’re right, I do love your cooking. And hey, even if it’s lame, I’m sure I’ll love it. What else did you get me?” He asked kindly, kissing her cheek again. He liked how she cuddled into his chest. “It would have been too cold for Moonshine out here. Besides, with our little kitty here, you wouldn’t pay any attention to me,” he teased.

“Oh, shush you just want to think that I’m thinking dirty.” she replies rolling her eyes at him. “Of course I know that.. you’re my best friend and boyfriend, I could tell you anything. I’ll keep that in mind for sure.. I’m not embarrassed about them..” she mutters as he kisses the side of her head causing her to smile over at him. Ariella smiles at the blonde, “You’re really confident about that aren’t you?” she questions rising an eyebrow at him looking pure amused that the blonde walk talking about them having babies already. 

Ariella grins, “I know that you do.. which is why I enjoy cooking for you.. And I sure hope that you do..” she mumbles pulling out a box. Inside was a locket with a little camera in the front. Inside the locket was a photograph of the two of them, which had ‘we keep this love in a photograph,’ in it. She shyly handed it over to him as she buries her face in his chest. “Wow, you know me so well.. I totally would pay more attention to her.”

“Well, I think I’d have to assess that for myself. People have told me the same thing, and here I am on my way to becoming a top-notch neurosurgeon,” he brags, chuckling along with her. “Well, yeah. Why not? It’s third on my list of career choices. After neurosurgery and directing. I‘ve definitely got the moves for it.”

“Hm.. interesting.” Ariella says while chuckling a bit as she glanced up at the taller guy. “I -- wow, I um, have no idea what to say..” she admits, while nibbling on her bottom lip. “But um a neurosurgeon and a director sounds great for sure. Good luck with what you do.”

“Exactly, I’m all for what you’re saying! I don’t like the idea of someone judging somebody else for what they do as a career.. it’s better than doing nothing, really.”

“That’s understandable -- I would understand why it’s hard to learn another language if it isn’t your first. Though, if you do need any help with your English, I am always willing to help.”

Listening to the question, she thought about it for a second before voicing her option. “Honestly, for the longest time I didn’t think that it was real since I was put in a bad situation.. but now I do really think that it’s real. It just takes the right person for you to get that romance feeling and once you get that, I think that it’s one of the most beautiful things in the world.”

“That just makes it sound like you were,” he sang. Artie’s jaw dropped. “Hey, we have way more in common than liking studying. We both like cloud watching! And we both like strawberries. And you’re my absolutely stunning and gorgeous model and I know you secretly like being my model! I like you being my model, so that’s another thing. Plus, music, duh! We both like music.” He pouted. “But yeah. I think it’s nice. Maybe one day we’ll even work in the same hospital.” He nodded, happy to see how excited she was, and kissed the tip of his nose. “Yeah, of course! I told you I would give you the best Valentine’s Day ever.”

Artie raised an eyebrow, his smile widening as she hopped back on the hood beside him again. “Honestly, I saw you putting that in the car. I don’t know why I didn’t realise it was my present. I was like, ‘oh yeah, that’s probably just some extra food or something’,” he admitted sheepishly. He inspected the basket with a wide smile on his face before he leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek. “I love it. Thank you so much,” he murmured, before eating another strawberry and feeding her the last one, and taking the box and his present back into his car. When he returned, he moved to lie down on the blanket and opened his arms for her so she could lie down too. “You know that I’m always down for cuddles, babe.”

“Well, you’ll never figure out my thoughts, so you never know if they were naughty or not.” she teased while wiggling her eyebrows at him. Once his jaw dropped, it caused her to giggle softly as she smiles. “Well, looks like someone’s been taking notes on things that we have in common, hm?” The brunette replies with an amused look upon her face. “Maybe so, who knows I might be your life long partner and you’ll be stuck with me at work and off of work.” she mentions giving him a slight shrug. Once he kissed the tip of her nose, she grins brightly as she glances up at the sky. “It’s already perfect so far.” 

Ariella eyebrow rose as well as she chuckles a bit. “How did you not put it together that it was for you? Though, I did bring extra food because I know that you’re a growing boy and you just oh so love my cooking.” she says a smile still upon her face. Hearing that he liked her gift caused her to clap her hands slightly. “Oh, good, I thought that you wouldn’t like it.. oh I also got you another thing.. but um, it’s kinda lame..” she mumbles before feeling his soft lips touch her cheek causing her to grin a bit. She happily took the last piece of strawberry and ate it. While the blonde was moving things back into the car, she glanced up at the sky and just had a happy gaze. When he got back, she saw that he opened his arms for her to lie down, which she did, cuddling up against his chest. “I know how much you enjoy cuddling.. we should’ve brought our baby.”

“Well, they do,” Jackson pointed out, but he smiled and took the books from her anyway. “Don’t worry about it. I was just pointing it out in case you preferred that,” he explained, scanning them for her. He paused when he looked at one of the titles and grinned. “This is a good book,” he said, tapping it.

“Oh..” she mumbles out embarrassed as she glances down a bit giving him a shy smile. “Well, thanks for that.” she replies taking note to do it that way next time. When he glanced at the title, she smiles a bit looking up from the book. “Is it? I literally had no time to read it because of all my school work and all, but it’s been on my reading list for a long time now.”

“Well, he can suck it.” Cam chuckled before nodding. “Looks  like I’ll be passing out in his bed in that case.”

“What exactly is he sucking?” Ariella asked as innocent as possible while glancing over towards him trying to not burst out giggling. “Imagine how surprise he’ll be when he comes home! Wait -- do they even know that you’re back?”

Jackson looked up from the sheet music he had been annotating as someone approached him at the librarian’s desk. “There’s actually a self-service system to borrow books,” he suggested, pointing at it. “You don’t need to come to me to check out your books.”

Ariella gives the guy a friendly smile as she nodded her head. “Oh, I know that.. I just -- I need to renew these books, but I’m not sure if those self-service check out book things have that option..”

          “how serious do you think the whole underaged drinking rule is?” he ponders, his head tilting. “i mean, c’mon, they can’t get me that bad if i’m going to be of age in less than a month.”

“I think that it’s really serious..” she replies truthfully. “Though, a whole lot of people do tend to do underage drinking... though, I think it’s safer if you don’t.. or at least have someone else get it for you, so you won’t get caught using a fake ID or something.”

“Oh, do I? Well that’s really embarrassing..” she mumbles as she wipes her face. “Did I get it?”

“Of course, you could ask me anything. What’s up?” she questions before chuckling a bit. “I promise that I won’t hit you even if you say it’s a stupid question, which I doubt that it is.” she replies giving him a small smile.

“So today someone asked me to translate for them to an elderly Chinese woman.  Which insulted us both because first off I’m Korean-American.  Then she’s Chinese…not the same country.  Then he proceeded to say isn’t all Asian language the same.  No sir, it is not the same.  Then when I told him I’m from America he said the classic ‘no where are you from orignially’ line.  When I hade told him I’m Korean-American.  As in my culture and race are Korean, but I am an American citizen.  My family has been here for 4 generations.  The only reason I know Korean is because I took it in school. Jeez, people.”

“Some people are just really not all that bright and educated when it comes to other race and ethnicity. I can’t believe that that person didn’t understand what you said literally right after you said it.”

“One thing I do miss about Russia is the fact I could speak my native language there.  English is a very hard language, especially to have as a second language.  Then having to translate everything in your head before speaking is very difficult.  Then often people tease you for having poor English, but really they do not understand how hard the process is.”

“That sounds awful, I sure hope that no one here is teasing you for having poor English.. though honestly, you sound perfectly fine and seem to be speaking it properly.”
