Exclusion. A word, a verb, to exclude someone from the outside. To alienate to exclude because that person is different or not part of the group. Segregate to denounce a group because of their social status, their race, their gender. Why these words why now, why back then, and why forever. We live in a society where all of these words are the face of humanity. Sadly it will always be the same. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “I Have A Dream” believe to have come true. but we face the same struggle we have faced 40 years ago. Same voucher of the government, same attitude of the people. What dreams, what life if the humans cannot seek a simple task to learn to love, and forget to hate. to drop their guns and to lower their voices of riots. But to learn to speak up for the freedom. To act in a way where the reason we have the freedom of speech it to be heard. Riots, violence, war. What is it that this day in age we all have to suffer from what the generation before us and the generation before them had to endure. Why Hate me. Why hate yourself. Why do you bother to even raise your voice if everything that comes out of out mouths are the negativity that keeps us in this situation in the first place. I’ve rather sit in silence, and cover my ears and eyes. It’s not worth raising a family in a condition where this world will only hate each other. And that the people will only seek revenge. To judge, to pretend. A nice cover up from a bruised face we all created. To bully one is to bully the entire nation. Our peace is their war. and their war is out downfall. Downfall of all humanity that life is never going to be simple for the blacks, the whites, asians, puerto ricans, hispanics etc. Revenge. We seek revenge and only revenge because thats what we see everyday. Loyalty to our country is no such thing if we cannot be loyal to ourselves and everyone around. Separate me from the world. Separate me from the violence. Separate me from the prejudice, the hate, the alienation, to segregate myself from the world because IS IT WORTH LOOKING AT everyday of my life. to hear and always feel the burden, the sadness. “I Have A Dream” because i do have a dream. but this dream may never come true.
