WIP#4 | Armonia

Sulsul, everyone! Just wanted to share a quick progress update.

This week, I’ve been working on the cabinets as planned. I also changed the glass-front cabinet set I showed before — the low-poly version originally used just one plane to save polygons, but the result didn’t look as nice as I wanted, so I changed it to a solid framed glass design instead.

Since I want this set to work with all wall heights, I planned 5 cabinet groups in total. So far, I’ve finished 3 of them: the shorter bottom row, the middle ladder rail section, and the row of cabinets above the rail. These groups use completely different meshes. I’ve also finished both ladder heights, and the one shown here is the version for medium walls.

There are still 2 cabinet groups left to make, so after that things should go a bit faster.

This set has been taking a while because every group of cabinets/counters/islands needs quite a lot of separate meshes and textures, and the cabinets also need to connect seamlessly when placed side by side, which makes everything much more time-consuming.

But honestly, it’s also been a really fun process. I’ve been super excited to see the final result the whole time, and since I love kitchens so much, it never really felt tiring to me. The in-game test turned out really nice, so I wanted to share it with you all right away hehe (￣▽￣)~*

I’m hoping to finish all the cabinets this week, then move on to counters and islands next week, and after that start working on the swatches.

Quiet Corner - Book Display

Hey everyone!

I wanted to finish this set earlier but these last few days were really hard for me, it took a lot to work on this set and complete it.

Sorry, if I won't be that animated in this post, despite that I'm still excited to share this set because I worked a lot on it, especially on the book covers.

This part of the Quiet Corner Collection focused finally on the books and showcasing them in the shop. I wanted to create bookshelves, displays and a lots of books. As you may saw my posts on Patreon I tried to as many book covers as I could. They took a lot of time so I couldn't do everyone's suggestion but thank you for everyone who sent one. I handpainted all of them in small resolution so in general one cover took about 10 minutes.

About the collection: The bookshelf is modular and can be placed next to each other seamlessly. I made some cabinets which snap to the wall and you can either build up a unit with them or put them above the bookshelf. They are 1 tile high so for medium wall you can place bookshelf+1 cabinet for tall bookshelf+2 cabinets. I was really inspired by the bookshelves in Livraria Lello in Porto, but I simplifed and changed the design so it fits to the style I was going for with my bookshop.

Both the bookshelf and the display shelf has a slot for a book genre sign, you can snap it on them and change the swatch.

I made the display shelf and the round display Businesses&Hobbies compatible so you can sell things from them. A slight disadvantage that you can't decorate them if you enable the sales because sims will buy the deco things as well. But on the display shelf you can put the in-game books and sell them (some of them have that thing when you put them somewhere they magically have a bookstand under them), and I plan to do some functional, readable books (hopefully) to have some trendy books in the game, and I'll use your earlier suggestions for that.

That's all. I hope you like this set, and I hope I can continue with the next part that I plan to be the last for this collection. Right now I'm a little overwhelmed and I have a hard time finding my motivation.

WIP#2|Armonia

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely evening! 😃

The counter section of the Armonia Kitchen is finally coming together! I did some in-game testing today, and these screenshots are completely unfiltered and raw. For the fabric accent, I chose a small floral print in a dusty pink-purple. It appears a bit more desaturated—almost a soft white—in-game than I expected, but I actually find this muted look quite charming.

I decided to make the decor items—like the pickles and cutting boards—integrated (built-in) to the corner counter. Since game slots can be a bit oversized and clunky to move around, I thought it’d be better to curate the placement myself for that perfect, "lived-in" feel. You’ll also notice two tin boxes with stickers; the UV space was quite tight, so the sticker resolution is a bit lower, but it’s subtle enough that it shouldn't break the immersion.

I am honestly thrilled with the results! I switched to a new baking method this time—it was incredibly tedious and took me nearly three days to complete, but the lighting and shadows are so beautiful they almost moved me to tears 🥹.

To be honest, I actually finished a version of these counters back in January (some of you might remember the clay WIP). But after CNY holiday, the more I looked at them, the more I felt they lacked that authentic "country soul." Combined with a massive workload at my IRL job at the time, I had to step away for a bit. Eventually, my perfectionism got the best of me, and I decided to scrap it all and start from scratch.

This new direction is heavily inspired by the Horse Ranch pack—natural, rustic, and cozy. I even designed custom flower and leaf-themed hardware to lean into that earthy aesthetic.

What’s next? I’m currently knee-deep in kitchen inspiration—I’ve even spotted a minimalist set I’d love to tackle next (if I don't run out of steam!). For Armonia, I’ll be working on more swatches, the cabinets, and—yes—an island is definitely happening this time! Once the wallpaper and flooring are done, this set will be ready for you.

Armonia | Kitchen Progress #1 (WIP)

Hi everyone, I want to share an update about my kitchen projects. After thinking about it for a long time, I’ve decided not to continue the Chop & Chop Kitchen set. I know many of you liked it and were looking forward to more, and I’m really sorry about that.

When I started that set, I was still very new to making CC — my modeling, color choices, and overall furniture design skills weren’t well developed yet. I’m definitely not a master now, but I’ve improved a lot since then, and continuing that project just didn’t feel right anymore. I still really wanted to make a complete kitchen, so I decided to start over from scratch.

This wasn’t an easy decision. Kitchens are complicated and honestly a lot of work — but I love them too much. No matter how painful the process is, seeing a beautiful kitchen in the end always feels worth it to me.

This time, the project is carefully planned, and I won’t be abandoning it. I’ll be focusing entirely on this kitchen without starting other sets in between.

The kitchen will be released in three parts:

Part 1: Kitchen cabinetry & finishes —counters, cabinets, islands, Refrigerator surround, various shelves, wallpaper & flooring

Part 2: Kitchen appliances

Part 3: Kitchen clutter

I went through four to five high-poly versions, spent a lot of time researching magazines and real kitchen brands, and now all high-poly models for Part 1 are finished.

That said, this kitchen won’t be released very quickly. Although it looks like a simple set of cabinets, it actually includes 19 separate modules plus variations, so I’m taking things slowly this time. I’ll do my best to have it ready around February.
