Here's my current sim.
I can't remember how many sim weeks have passed nor what gen I'm in, but I simply got tired of the same old career paths so this guy is a complete NEET hahaha....
He does nothing but play games on his desktop all day, and goes traipsing around town making fun of people all night.

Hey everyone!! It's been a while. I logged in to find they released that cat thingy game and man, I've been trying so hard to get a good score but its one of those things where my eyes see it, but my fingers can't keep up and refuses to work with my brain....gotta love this site and all its madness, despite it being the most random place on the interweb!!
Anyway, my visit was spurred on by my going through an old folder of screenies and coming across one that brought a smile to my face. It's pretty old, but I have fond memories of that particular save.
In addition, it's a nice and sunny day today so the screenie really stood out! So, here I am posting something that makes me think of summer! Yes, I know it's only spring but with the sun shining, children laughing outside, non-stop lawnmowing around me...I just can't help but feel all summery!!

Looking for Advent Calendar Image Submissions!
I am looking once again for image submissions for my annual advent calendar! Create your most beautiful wintry landscape, cozy fireplace scene, Christmas Market spirit, or anything else that represents the coziness of the season to you. Keep in mind that people will likely see it several times, so maybe you want to focus on telling a story within the image or add little details that people can discover. But you do you! I very much appreciate your submissions and look forward to what you come up with this year! Thank you for helping me make my Advent calendar extra special!

the scene should be either winter-themed, festive, or both.
the scene can be futuristic, fantastic, historical, contemporary, whatever you like!
it should be made with/in the Sims 3 (you can also make a render if it is based on Sims 3 meshes)
Keep in mind that the doors will be placed onto the image and may partly obscure the image. Details at the edges of the image might get cut off, depending on the user's display settings.
the image should be 1920x1080 pixels or bigger. I may use an AI-based upscaler to increase its size to support more screen sizes.
Please make sure that you upload the image submission in a way that does not reduce the size or compress the image (the tumblr dm's will reduce the size, so please upload it to a photo or file hoster.)
I will reserve the right to do some editing in terms of colors or lightness or maybe smooth out some jagged seams. I will show you the result before uploading it!
You can edit the image yourself before you submit it.
If possible, please please turn on edge smoothing/anti-aliasing before you take screenshots, or use reshade to smooth the edges.
You can use Custom Content in your screenshots.
If I get several submissions, which I count on, I will do my best to divide the time fairly so every picture gets equal "screen time". However, I cannot guarantee that it will be exactly equal for everyone.
Please let me know how you want to be referred to in terms of credit. I will add your credit directly in the image so people know it is yours! If you want to use your blog handle, I will refer to it as @ tumblr, for example : "background image by yourname @ tumblr"
Please submit the image by November 29 if you can manage. I do accept late submissions under special circumstances, just talk to me :)
I will only use the images as a Calendar background, for nothing else.

Hello!! I can't believe we're in August already! I haven't posted anything in a while so here is a screenshot of a sim from an older active household. I really liked how he looked so decided to mess around with editing, which coincidentally, is something I also haven't had the chance to do much of lately. I've forgotten how to use my editing software, and in my quest to turn the screenshot into a retro over-saturated photo type of thing, I think it turned out ok?
Despite my lack of TS3 activity here, I promise you I have been dutifully fulfilling my part offline! And since I have a bit of time to waffle about nothing, I will now bore you with my crap...
First, work and life hasn't been going so well, but nothing unusual there. While I can't say I'm burnt out, I could do with a break. I can feel my energy levels depleting every time I give eyerolls to my junior colleagues (yes, I am that old furniture senior who loves to whine lol). Not sure about you, but I've abandoned many saves simply due to lack of energy and not to mention I can get bored quite easily too. Oh, and the lag never helps.
Which brings me onto the main reason for posting in the first place! I was eager to try a short challenge that, in theory, shouldn't be too demanding on the brain and nothing that would stress me out - so I present Family Man, a challenge by thatmadgirl over at MTS.
Oh man, I cannot tell you how stressful this has been!
It was fine to begin with, I guess. The aim is to father as many kids as possible, so I had to get working!! At first I felt like to be an emperor flipping name plates and choosing a different concubine every night. Then, as time went on, I felt like such a sleazy scum man (this is what I ended up calling this challenge). What really caused me stress was whenever I attended a party, every single sim I was sleeping with was guaranteed to show up as well. The stress of being accused, getting caught, or having arguments was unreal!! I really don't know how people can deal with this amount of stress in real life!! Thank god I am but a simple sim man...
To end, I share with you my progress so far (sorry about the blurry screenshot). I started the challenge earlier this week (a couple of hours per day) and my sim Sheldon is a young adult (still). Scumbag and his scummy behaviour aside, in terms of the challenge itself, I seem to be on track. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure 3 of my 'friends' are currently pregnant so yeah, I've been busy.
A few more days of playing and my game is stuttering. It would freeze at random, or take forever to save (if at all 😠). I'm a little pissed off because I was actually doing alright!! My eldest just turned into a YA and 3 new additions joined the family (we're now at 15). All I can say is thank god I managed to take a screenshot before it froze again.
I honestly believe this is my laptop's way of putting an end to my sim's scum man ways 😆

I've tried looking for her in my sim bin and savedsims, but I'm afraid I don't have her. I'll probably have to check my old saves to see if I can spot her around town, but this isn't the best method and might take a while. To be honest, it might be easier if I tried to create her from scratch 🤔

Yuki Kaiou's Bachelorette Challenge
Ok so after a lot of thought, I decided to make a BC to find a life partner for Yuki!
Now, who's Yuki?
Yuki is the 5th generation heir of the Kaious legacy. She grew up in Riverview in the midst of her family wealth, and didn't know yet what she would want of life, but as a typical golden child of a rich family, she wants to do crime 🙄 She and her nuclear family moved out to Twinbrook searching for a fresh air, but Yuki doesn't feel like the town has anyone "worthy" of her... Hence the bachelorette challenge!

Hey guys, its been a while since I've posted anything. I hope you've all been well. I've been busy at work, among other things, but have been lurking around, and playing different saves every now and again. My little gardener was born in game in one of my older Meadow Glen saves (can't remember how many gens this is though). The only thing I did was update his make up and clothes. He's so pretty, I couldn't help but share a couple of pics hehe.
