Elliesimple - 4t3 Two-Piece Pajamas (UPDATED)

I'm very happy how these turned out!! The textures are so... *chef's kiss*

This is a brand-new re-conversion of my first CC I released almost exactly 3 months ago, in late August (it was posted August 29th, and today just happens to be November 29th!). It wasn't even that long ago, but it feels like it, especially since I have a lot of experience now! Compare those screenshots to this new style I'm trying out!

I've added a new overlay, which are star constellations! There is now a maternity morph for both!

I've also tried a new technique, something I've thought of, to reduce button morph mishaps, which is using a second group in TSRW to put the buttons in separately from the pajamas, then making the morphs by hand. Therefore, it will not replace the original, and it has custom thumbnails!

Last difference is that it now has 4 channels instead of 3 - the buttons are separate from the lines! Other basic info should be the same. See below the cut for comparisons!

There are three masks, with red, yellow, magenta, and blue representing Channel 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively, I didn't use the 255 colors in CAS so it would be easier on the eyes and I could show the shading better, which means I didn't pick the colors evenly on the picture above oops lol

A new mod by TheSweetSimmer!

TheSweetSimmer mod notes: - Big thanks to MissPat for testing, giving feedback and translating the mod, as well as Battery for helping me get a piece of code working! In this mod, toddlers will finally be able to learn to walk by themselves, no adults or store walker required! Mod Info - This mod was built and tested with game version 1.69, but should work with v.1.67 as well. - What type of mod is this? - This a pure script mod, adding a new interaction to toddlers to learn to walk by themselves. This mod can go into the Packages folder. - Animations - All new animations. - Translations - The interaction name is translated to all languages. To have your toddler perform the interaction, select them then click on them and an interaction to “Learn to Walk” will appear. The interaction is autonomous and will last a total of 40 Sim minutes each time (unless cancelled) and by default it will take around 5-6 tries for the toddler to level up their walking skill. Once they level up, the interaction will disappear. Adventurous and Athletic toddlers will be almost 2x faster at learning the skill and will be more likely to perform the interaction. All these values can be tuned inside the XML and ITUN file in the mod package. Clumsy toddlers will fall more often than normal, and excitable toddlers will cheer and clap after they level up. Because this mod implements forward and backward locomotion, please make sure your toddler is in an open area before they perform the interaction, otherwise the chances of them walking through objects and walls will be more likely. @theplumbobarchitect‘s Art of the Century Set - 4t3 conversion - 500 FOLLOWERS GIFT!

Guys, the follower count went up FAST lately! Thank you guys, but you really surprised me!

Thankfully this little set was already in my plans and this was a good time to convert it. The sideboard is a functional dresser like the TS4 original, but no animations because as I said before, TS4 meshes are hollow, there’s no drawers and hangings :P

Only the divider is over 1k polys - around 2k, to be exact, but it is a larger object, 2x1, with an intricate design. All the others are very lowpoly. And the glass on it isn’t recolorable because the original came with two diffuses and I really, really didn’t want to make a new, larger texture when both of them were already 1024x1024 and remap the mesh. So the glass tint is 100% from shader properties.

The armchair doesn’t come with the snazzy pattern presets because i didn’t want to add tons of overlays / stencils but some presets have EAxis patterns that resemble them… a little.

Last, the vase has a second mask, as seen on the preview pic :)

All basegame compatible, all recolorable, all in proper categories (divider in deco > Sculptures like all the others). Collection file included.

Aaaand I will release more goods for you guys, the CAS gifts are almost done!

Happylifesims’ Y/AF Faux Shearling Coat - 4t3 conversion

Because there’s a SERIOUS lack of female outerwear for TS3, not just CC - EA is allergic to long sleeves for women, I have no idea why.

So when I saw this coat, I HAD to convert it - and it’s top-only, with a decent polycount since it is an open long coat instead of just a top. Very, very versatile.

The shearling multiplier is visible in the first preset, for the others there’s a plain one, so you can add any texture you like - Topaz DeNoise is POWERFUL.

(First preset with shearling texture is more visible in the thumbnail)

The mesh is also slightly edited to be a little wider in the back to allow for skirts under them - all pants fit, straight skirts fit, longer A-line skirts fit. Only the more voluminous ones and flared minis won’t fit. Also, the turtleneck is made for high-waisted bottoms - use an accessory undershirt with medium / low waist bottoms.

Bone assignments are OK, but the lack of a proper open coat reference mesh shows when sitting down - the transition between upright and sitting fabric is quite harsh. My bone reference was a SPN dress :/

Patterns tile VERY NICELY - I added an extra preset with some EA patterns to show it!

Discover University Bookshelves and Dining Hutch - 4t3 conversions

I know I just disappeared, I know. Sorry, life got in the way.

Also, I noticed I just hit 600 followers, but it’ll take a while until I release a gift - I need to get my crap together before straying from my list again.

All basegame compatible, all bookshelves have geostates, all recolorable. Bookshelves have phong alpha shader, hutch has regular glass — the overlay on it looked SHIT in phong alpha, dunno why.

Shelves ($600, $1600, $1900) in Storage > Bookshelves. Hutch ($350) in Decor > Sculptures.

Incheon Arrivals Long Coat - 4t3 Conversion

Outerwear is the ONLY category where female sims are at a disadvantage, and while @joojconverts's work includes a ton of very classy, timeless coat dresses, there's a time I need pants and a longer coat. Not even my old top-only HappyLifeSims coat is enough, sometimes.

So here's my contribution to fix the gap :P

TS4 Vampires GP Ribbon Tights - 4t3 Conversion

Please ignore that I put EP instead of GP in the preview

This could only be possible with @thornowl's tutorial - without it, I would have NO IDEA of aligning the ribbon design below the ankle, since TS3 and TS4 foot UV maps are incredibly different.

SO YEAH, IT WORKS! And those are legit tights instead of leggings!

There's only some slight pattern distortion close to the inner ankles - not very noticeable, probably a result of the 8px bake border, the discrepancy of the UVs or maybe the raytrace setting, dunno. Not that perceptible + it's the first time I followed the tutorial, so... bear with me on this one.

TS4 Book Nook Kit Lights - 4t3 conversion

They're quite simple and similar to already released CC - but they're lowpoly (both less than 500 polys each) and I liked the wooden accents work on these ones.

BGC, two recolorable channels - the wooden pattern is an EA pattern and won't appear if you choose a different one!

TS4 Modern Luxe Kit Curtains (short height only) - 4t3 conversion

One of those objects that I can't imagine WHY EA didn't make it before - it's just two curtains and a matching rod that will fit practically ANY window. That's it, incredibly simple, but fixes a massive headache!

They fit no matter if you use the rod or not, if you're using a narrower window. I also didn't convert the tall height windows because since tall height =/= double height, it felt... kinda useless to convert them :x

Curtains are 400 poly each and have 3 channels, rod is around 60 polys and only has one channel. All in Decor > Curtains, $125. BGC.

@peacemaker-ic's Gently Draping Curtains - 4t3 conversion

Another extremely versatile set of modular curtains that will fit many, many rooms.

No Photoshop tricks here - they really do layer like that, even if the sheers acted up on me and only go on the walls with moveobjects on (dunno why, the footprint is the same as the blinds).

In theory, all items move up and down, but in practice only the standalone rail and the roman blinds do, probably because of the size of the meshes. But everyone knows tricks around that, so I didn't beat myself up about it too much :P

All in Decor > Curtains and Blinds. Rail is $10, sheers are $40, solids are $60, and the blinds are $90~$130. All lowpoly, 1~3 channels recolorable, BGC.
