Enhanced Horse Head Slider
This is a replacement for EA's head slider (this contains an improved version of EA's head slider)
This is an all-in-one slider which includes 8 sliders total.
Head Size Slider (left and right, left view)
Head Carriage Slider (up and down, left view)
Neck Shape/Ewe Neck/Swan Neck Slider (left and right, right view)
Head Position Slider (up and down, right view)
Neck Length Slider (left and right, quarter left view) Please see notes.
Uphill/Downhill Conformation Slider (up and down, back view) Please see notes.
As stated above, you can no longer use EA's head slider with this mod. We have recreated their head size slider, so there was no need to keep it.
I've done very little testing outside of CAS with this, so please feel free to let me know of any issues you run into! Everything seems to work quite nicely with CAS poses, which is a good sign.
Should anyone else create a head slider, this mod will NOT be compatible - you will have to decide between them.
Once I have finished more of my planned sliders, I will create a cheat sheet to help you easily remember which view and direction is what slider!
Enjoy!
Notes:
Remember to grab the head and not the neck for these sliders!
The Neck Length Slider seems to cause some issues with the undo function. This does make this slider a little tricky and annoying to use.
We believe there may be an issue with uphill horses and their back hooves sinking into the ground when posed, and will look into fixing it soon.
You may be wondering why we've only shown previews for 6 sliders and not 8 - the other 2 sliders are for missing eyes. Whilst these are part of the mod, they currently leave a rather strange-looking dark gray hole. We will be releasing a texture overlay to make these a little bit less scary in the future.
It can be difficult to access the quarter left and right views - you must keep slightly rotating your horse until you find this angle. This can be annoying, but it's the only way to fully maximise the potential of sliders!
Any distortion you may experience with equipment is likely not fixable.
The GIFs help to demonstrate the angle you need to use these sliders, just like any EA ones.
