Please send your positive vibes/prayers to this courageous teen choosing to end her life. She suffers from a disease that leaves her in constant pain. The only physical strength she has left is in her fingers.. She uses this strength to spend most of her time playing the Sims. I know I don’t have much of a voice in the simblr community but I do see all the negativity that gets thrown around. Let this girl be a reminder that The Sims is an escape for everybody who plays. Behind the username and Sim avatar is a person with emotions and a beating heart just like yours. You don’t know what people are going through… The Sims may be someone’s last true Utopia. Dont take that away from them. Reading her story was so inspiring and then learning she escapes with The Sims just about brought me to tears. Studio News: Pose Player & Creator Studios

Andrew has created the Sims 4 Pose Player and it is available in his Studio here: Andrew’s Studio.

You can use it to make your Sim or any other Sim perform the pose or animation you choose.  He has included a list of all EA clips and, if you have a default override of an EA clip in your Mods folder that will play instead.  If there is any interest in it the pose player mod can be expanded and Studio can work with that mod.  Let us know what you think in the Studio wish list.

Let there be light! - Studio (Jackpot) batch fix for broken CC lamps

Hi all, today’s patch caused many CC lamps to stop placing in the game properly (they cause a script-call failure), and Studio’s latest update contains a batch-fix that will repair them. 

It may be that EA will fix the problem on their end but until they do, or if they don’t, you can have working lamps using this batch-fix. If you fix your lamps this will not cause them any harm in the event that EA backs out changes that caused them to break. 

New lamps cloned from patched games will not be affected by the patch-breakage nor will they need to be batch-fixed.

Unarmed Black Man With Hands Up Shot By Police.

Charles Kinsey, 47, a behavior therapist from South Florida was shot in the leg three times by the police in North Miami while laying on the ground with his arms up and trying to help his patient with autism who had run away from a group home.

It all started when someone called 911 and said there was a man walking around with a gun. However it was Kinsey’s patient who was sitting on the ground cross-legged, playing with a toy truck.

Charles got shot by police despite telling them he was only trying to help his patient.

The police shot him, handcuffed him and left him on ground bleeding.

North Miami police have not released much information at all. They haven’t released the officer’s name, they haven’t given us an update on the investigation. However, they did say that the state attorney is now a part of this investigation.
