#TuesdayTrivia: Who remembers when you could watch Captain EO in 3D at Disneyland? Did you know it was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and executive produced by George Lucas? The 3D film was shown at Disney theme parks from 1986 through 1996 and returned to the Disney Parks in 2010, as a tribute after Michael Jackson’s death.

Platt College alumni Juan Fernando Garcia made this excellent Captain EO illustration as tribute to the Michael Jackson 3D film. Nice work @elblackbat!

i friggin' SAW captain eo at disneyland, the year it came out (i was seven). i had no idea who mj was at the time, though, at that age i was more interested in the puppets and the 3D effects themselves.
