The way Xenosaga 2 treats Shion is insane to me. Like, one of her biggest outfit changes is because the guy who has a crush on her accidentally pushes her and breaks her glasses.

Her combat abilities are totally toned back so she has no melee actions in a series at the time mechanically built around melee combos, despite the first game's profile for her stating she has an inherited martial art not shown in this game and can knock out men with a single kick.

Said combat options *also* exclude her from basically any meta team composition as she interrupts elemental combos which are one of the biggest damage sources in the game.

personally I don't think if you're a kid you should be using your real name on the internet. very easy for people to find out too much about you. instead you should spend years using a different made-up name that becomes part of your persona to an arguably even greater degree than your actual name and then when you grow up and find out you're trans you have a ready-made name to switch to even if it's probably like Leaf or something
