Finished renovating the train station!
Almost done redesigning the inside of the train!
Slowly getting some work done on The Commute...
Currently redesigning the train station where you hang out before the start of each level and also changed the look of the player character (who might end up going through some more changes... I haven’t decided yet if this is the final Look I want...)
Some new designs for the main character of The Commute...
I think I’m gonna go with a combination of A and C, but add in the dumb purple mullet from D lol
I decided make a game for Ludum Dare this past weekend as a way to brush up on my game dev/RPG Maker skills since I’ve been feeling pretty rusty lately. I didn’t finish in time to submit it for judging but I’m actually pretty happy with what I did manage to get done so I wanted to share!
The theme for the jam was “Running out of space” so I made a game called “The Commute”, which about the struggle of having your phone run out of storage space at really inopportune moments lol. It’s basically a survival game, with the main goal being to complete your commute to work without having your “mood gauges” drop to zero.
During your commute, you encounter lots of different things that will affect your mood, like crowds and annoying, screaming kids. You can boost your mood back up again by using various apps on your phone that help distract you from the chaos going on. But since your phone is running out of space, you can only have a select few apps on your phone at a time. Before the start of each level, you can decide which apps you feel are the most worthwhile to keep based on the benefits they provide, how much battery the use up, and how much space they take up on your phone.
I’m gonna try to finish up this game over the next few days and hopefully have it released next week!
I’m back Online y’all. Time for some long overdue “spring cleaning” of my social media lmao...
Sporadic list of new blogs recs
I was about to post it in my dev blog, but I didn’t want to look like I’m just looking for more followers :’)
So here it goes my first promoting list of devblogs! I’ll try to make one of these whenever I can, the more I find new projects to follow, and that I feel more or less, relatively under the radar, so the intent of these is to raise them up! Go give these guys your +’ses whenever you can:

Put together a mock-up of one of the maps for my game REBROADCAST with some of the art assets I’ve been working on!
I’ve been feeling really burnt out from working on my game Paludaria-13 lately, so I decided to take a break from it for the next few days. I’m gonna use this time to do sort of a self-directed game jam and work on a project which I’ve decided to call...
REBROADCAST will be a short, interactive horror story about repetition, trains, and Halloween nights.
If you’re interested in following development, I’ll be tagging related posts with #rebroadcast (game). I’m also planning on streaming some of my work on Twitch, so I’ll make an update when that’s ready to go!
pollinatorgator replied to your photo: It’s been a while. Here’s a little art test for a...
what game is that :o
@pollinatorgator: It’s from an old game idea I had where you play as an alley cat hanging around an apartment building! Didn’t end up finishing it but I’ve thought about reworking it into a visual novel/point-and-click sort of thing...
Your game looks super duper, I love your pixel art.
Ayyyyyyy! Thanks, kind anon! :D
I’ll spare everyone the details, but I’m a bit tight on funds right now so I’m opening up commissions!
I’m down to draw pretty much anything except NSFW stuff. If you’re interested in something you don’t see listed here (Like reference sheets, pixel art, gifs, etc.) just send me an email for a price quote!
Here’s how the process works:
Send an email to sistinedisco(at)gmail(dot)com with “Commission” in the subject line. Include specific details about what you want, such as preferred colors, textures, poses, etc.
I email you a Paypal invoice.
Once I’ve been paid in full, I start working on your commission.
When your commission is complete, I send you a high-resolution PNG of the finished work.
If commissions aren’t really your thing but you’d still like to show your support, consider paying above the minimum price for my games, buying some merch from my Redbubble store, or tipping via Ko-Fi! Reblogging this post is, of course, appreciated as well :)

I guess you could say my artwork has felt a little... OFF lately!!
Turned some of my Party Animalz concept art into designs for my new Redbubble shop!
Now you too can join me in neon, 90s aesthetic hell!
Sneak attack!!!
Finally got around to finishing some concept art for an old game idea I had!
