WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: UHHHHHH none so far! There was a brief wondering during TBFLYE but it never went even close to anywhere so it’s not even worth mentioning. I dunno, Salem is a wanderer.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: Almost anything. Or, well - I’m willing to RP almost anything, but there comes a point when it stops being ship-fuel and starts being just, ambiguous “relationship” angst. So at some point I stop defining it as “ship” but that doesn’t mean we can’t go further. I have a macabre fixation on Bad Things.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: Nothing under 18 for Salem, here. Luckily, they are just straight up disinterested in anyone under their age. We can flirt with the notion, but nothing’s gonna actually happen, cause they just won’t. They’ll go pretty far above their age, however - not for love, but to get what they want.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: Not very much. Pretty much no one ends up shipping with me, so I jump at any chance.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:   Since Salem is an OC, they, don’t really have a canon to hark back to. I can’t think of any. Salem hasn’t interacted with very many, and most of those they have are now inactive.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: Kinda not? I mean, don’t just, declare they’re married, that’s weird. But I like to be kind of, led along, picking up hints of a crush in the text. If you wanna go somewhere, definitely ask, but you don’t need permission for something to bloom.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: “Often”? A-all the time..?

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: Ship more-or-less. I’m more concerned with stories over ships. I like the story of how two people got together - and if the story surrounding that smaller story sucks, I’m not into it. I need to build a world before I can build a life. If you want me to be into it, it’s gotta be interesting, and good.

one time @eitherpeace-orwar helped me with math and so i drew maeris for her!! that was like... a month ago! oops! dorky art meta under the cut ~

okay so first off i love mae she’s so pretty. I didn’t wanna draw her in the clothes she’s in on the sidebar; I could’ve but I didn’t. 1. Armor Is Difficult, 2. I wanted to see how she’d look in something a little different. I didn’t much find any info about like, what other types of clothes she’d wear on the blog, maybe I was looking in the wrong place. So I came up with this.

It’s sort of a King’s Landing type dress - I imagine this is a young Maeris, just come to King’s Landing, only 19. Maybe she copies their dress to blend in, or maybe someone made her do it, or maybe it was a one-time experiment. Or maybe it’s just really fuckin hot down there so he had to or she’d die of heatstroke. The intent wasn’t to feminize her, and I hope it doesn’t come off that way. I Just Like Pretty Colors And Dresses Are Nice,

The colors come from her clan banner, ssssort of. The top is sort of star-shaped to evoke the stars on the banner, and the blue is the blue parts. Of course she kept her tartan and boots and gloves and sword, because she’s Maeris. I don’t think she’d look like herself if she didn’t have at least a hint of that blue and green.

I like to imagine this was “actually” drawn by a secret admirer of Maeris’, some creepo who admires her from afar when she walks in the gardens. It’s an idealized version of her, posed deliberately to not deny her warrior-ness but also play up her “demure” qualities(she has 0 demure qualities,). They make it into a whole painting and try to give it to her as a Proclamation of Love, but her response is “who the whole goddamn fuck are you even”. And the poor artist is Heartbroken! that’s what you get for spying on people you fucking weirdo

of course that’s just my justification for the weird-ass pose i chose lmao. hope you like!! sorry i forgot to post it until like a month after i finished it lmao

so essentially, what I’m thinking is this. 8-12 (depending on response) housemates, YOUR MUSES, are stuck living with each other for about 3 months (actual timeline for ooc activity tbd, but it will be relaxed)

it doesn’t matter their origin, their personality, their age (though muses should be 18+ for plot purposes), or their loyalties. everyone can potentially be a housemate ! oc’s included !

this would be a CRACK VERSE , so people can let their humors run wild. get better acquainted with your muse’s fucked up side, lol, if you haven’t had the chance to really let it fly !! the IN-CHARACTER DRAMA will be cranked to max, because after all, the cameras are always rolling ! I could absolutely see Maeris and Salem as friends. Even if Salem’s a little closed off, she still finds him amusing and getting him to open up is an endlessly rewarding challenge.

As for the friends with benefits part… that would be a little difficult. Mae is demisexual, almost asexual, and has only ever felt sexual attraction to her husband. A part of that also has to with the fact that she feels ashamed - her miscarriage rendered her infertile and she feels that she’d broken because of it.

She lost her child and her ability to have any more so soon after loosing the love of her life, so she’s lost all real desire to have sex again.

That being said, if she does find herself attracted to someone, she can be quite passionate.

( yeah, understandable. that’s why i put question marks around it - on Salem’s part too, they’re a bit sex-weird, given that they’ve been mostly a strange hermit looter most of their life. they’re not. very experienced with people.

but they’re totally friends, at least that is definite. i don’t think Salem will ever stop finding Maeris endlessly interesting. they’ll never tire of hearing her talk about her strange across-the-water culture.

    if you play ANY sort of villainous character - from a pick-pocket to a full-scale serial killer - and i follow you, please know that i’ve come into this FULL WELL what i’m signing up for. i don’t expect you to soften your character for me, i’m not going to complain when they aren’t nice to my characters, and i honestly probably love watching them do what they do. not all characters are going to be the “good guys”, or the type of villain that can be redeemed. not everyone has a tragic backstory that makes them do the things they do - some people enjoy it, others just do it because they can, and for some it’s all they know. yes, there are villains with a soft spot or two - this doesn’t mean they need to change everything. our characters become friends/lovers even though my character is a “good guy”? you keep doin’ you. keep stealing those purses, killing those people, burning those villages to the ground. 

        tl;dr - I DIDN’T FOLLOW YOU BECAUSE I WANTED SOMETHING SOFT AND EASY - you keep bein’ a villain, babe, cause you’re  just as excellent as the heroes.
