what is MBTI?? Just stumbled upon this blog
It’s a secret society
First rule of mbti: We never shut up about mbti Second rule of mbti: We never shut up about mbti
What MBTI tells you: Roughly how your brain processes things- how you take in information and make decisions.
What MBTI does NOT necessarily tell you: Someone’s skills, hobbies & interests and values.
NTs can be humble NFs can be assertive SJs can be creative SPs can be sensible
People are more complicated than four letters.
MBTI AESTHETICS: I S T P (7/?)
ISTPs love to explore with their hands and their eyes, touching and examining the world around them with cool rationalism and spirited curiosity. While their mechanical tendencies can make them appear simple at a glance, ISTPs are actually quite enigmatic. Friendly but very private, calm but suddenly spontaneous, extremely curious but unable to stay focused on formal studies, ISTP personalities can be a challenge to predict, even by their friends and loved ones. ISTPs can seem very loyal and steady for a while, but they tend to build up a store of impulsive energy that explodes without warning, taking their interests in bold new directions.
is there some kind of reverse test in which you put in the description of the person (ie quick-witted, smart etc) and then you get the personality type as a result?
Behavioral descriptions do not indicate type.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
From here on out, all asks about the E/I N/S T/F and J/P dichotomies that do nothing for proper analyses of MBTI will be deleted. I will put ---
“Stray from stereotypes and we’ll all be happy. Ignore the infamous E/I N/S T/F J/P dichotomy that actually does nothing to increase your knowledge on MBTI and please look at cognitive functions.”
--- in an FAQ once we get one. Because I don’t wanna spam your dashes when I clear out our inbox.

how accurate would it be to get a person's personality type by taking the test /for/ that person?
Uh, seeing as taking tests for yourself is risky business already, I’d say taking it for other people is pretty much useless.
I'm ISTP now that would mean that I would go under Si right?
See for yourself.
I found I'm a female INTJ. Is it rare or is it common? :D
Statistically rare. High-five, sister.
