Hiii just thought i should talk a bit about me.

So, i’ve always had disordered eating, there was a period where i recovered but since i’ve started this uni i hate ive unconsciously relapsed. I mostly just rant on here

Anyone else grow up in an ingredient household?

my family was the type to never have any sugar or snacks or junk food in the house growing up. And i distinctly remember if we ever rarely got the chance to eat something unhealthy my parents would be looming over me warning me not to eat too much or ill “fill up” and my dad would puff up his checks and lift up his arms to make himself more circular.

It was all in good fun but now it’s so strange if i’m in posetion of a candy bar, i don’t save it or break it up for the week i finish it as fast as possible bc i feel like i’ll never have the opportunity to eat it again.

yesterday i went to grab a digestive cookie

my dad told me to just take one

i told him i am? ( he never tells me how to eat and he’s just saying this cus we’re in america and digestives are expensive)

i argued with him for a bit, went into my room and threw the cookie at the wall

i don’t like my family and their complete disregard to my mental health issues, acting like they ain’t real
