I got a Microsoft Surface today, and seeing as I’m not up for both relearning how to draw and trying to learn how to use a new tablet when I haven’t done digital art in a while, I traced from here. [ shrugs ]

Their dynamic intrigues me. Kitaniji is apparently fine with being called ‘Megs’/Megumi-cha~n and also totally accepting of Minamimoto walking out of meetings for his arts and crafts time. There’s clearly some kind of understanding there! Even with Kitaniji being the most humorless humorless failboat to ever attempt to humor.

I can't be the only person whose reaction to Neku and Beat's conversation on week 3 day 4 was 'now kiss', can I? And so, angsty Neku/Beat in Miyashita Park Underpass, because nowhere's more romantic than where one of them died.

BG's not meant to be anything in particular. I took some liberties with her design so that now it's intentionally ridiculous. She was trying to dress to kill, but instead is in something I wouldn't be caught dead in. So it goes.
Megumi Kitaniji in the Dead God's Pad on Casual Friday. This of course means he's ditched the godswful suit for an ugly red coat and a regrettable tunic. Here we are.
Some recent prints. I keep forgetting to take photos, oops, and the colours are pretty off. I tried to fix them, though.
First three are mixed media (printed with Caligo, painted with acrylic inks) and definitely not done (two are blue with birds and have the same palette, though it really doesn't look like it here; the third is a sunset lake and is mostly painted); last two are older and more clearly prints. One's mostly yellow and red and of a sea slug; one's mostly blue with some yellows and reds and of a sea sort of scene.

Not quite what I originally planned on giving for Trick or Treat Exchange, but I’ve had an … interesting … month, so this will have to do. Ehehehe.
Last week's monotypes. I forget offhand what colours I'd used. Black, Napthol Blue, Process Magenta, some kind of yellow, and past that I'm not sure.
Today's monotypes. Light orange, process cyan, and a violet I forget the name of, using bird stencils I made, on cream paper.
I did try to colour-correct it, but it's much more vibrant irl. The paper's also raised a bit where the birds are, which you can see the edges of (since I used multiple parts for the stencils), but texture is one of those things that's hard to convey in a photograph.
