Visiting my home country and i just saw some birds colloquially called churrete, which also means shart. May i request some animals with unfortunate names?
Well, I know I posted one of these recently, but here goes...
Robust Assfish (Bassozetus robustus), family Ophidiidae, order Ophidiiformes, found in the deep ocean in tropical and temperate parts of the world

False Toad or Suck Toad (Pseudobufo subasper), family Bufonidae, found in peninsular Malaysia and Indonesia.
Despite the name, this is a true toad, in the true toad family.
“Suck Toad” is only cited in a few places, and may be misunderstanding of native name for these toads… they may not actually be called that.

Slippery Dick (Halichoeres bivittatus), family Labridae, order Labriformes, found in the tropical western Atlantic
Feel free to grab ahold, and even... to taste.
Like many wrasses, this fish starts life as a female, and becomes male later in life.
American Woodcock (Scolopax minor), family Scolopacidae, order Charadriiformes, found in and near woodlands in the Eastern and central US and southern Canada
Also called the Timberdoodle or Bogsucker, Labrador Twister, Budbat...

Hellbender (Cryptobranchus alleganiensis), family Cryptobranchidae, found in freshwater streams in the eastern US
The smallest of the “Giant Salamanders” in the family Cryptobranchidae, this aquatic salamander is nonetheless quite large, growing to a length of up to 29 inches.
