Had a guy at my work snap at me when I made an off hand comment about the rich not paying their taxes. He said "YOU THINK THEY DON'T PAY TAXES? You must have a really messed up view of the world then" and I was stunned like absolutely stunned into silence. Cause to me it's just a fact? We have so much evidence from the Panama Papers to the way they use charities to dodge paying in full. Literally thousands of off shore accounts. By investing in the stock market their money cannot be taxed until it's withdrawn and even then they use shell companies to take out that money. Filing bankruptcy on a compnay to not have to deal with class action lawsuits. Johnson and Johnson has claimed bankruptcy several times and they're one of the biggest mega corps in the world. The wealthy pay as little taxes as possible.

Yet this fuckin guy. This 40 something line cook. Was ready to fight me over this. To who's benefit? Who the fuck does he think he's protecting? The status quo of praising the rich for simply being rich is so harmful to our perception of reality it's not even funny.
