Gotta say Aphex Twin's Syro grew on me as an album, I was disappointed on first listen, only really loving Minipops, but I've had it on in a few different situations now and I'm really understanding and appreciating the sound now. It's got a lot of moments that are reminiscent of earlier work, particularly Druqs in the use of slighty detuned piano and the mix of more analogue sounds. It also blends in parts of the Analord collections where more errors and seeming randomization play in, and the slow synth of the Ambient Collections. Very much a feeling of an almost retrospective album of new material if that makes sense.

Inside Out
Inside Out is really phenomenal and one of it's interesting points is that I feel it's got much more to offer adults than children. Kids in the cinema enjoyed it a lot, no doubt, but what it talks about and how it represents it has much deeper meaning if you've already been through it. There is one sequence that was really funny but literally only to teens and adults, the kids in the audience were silent because the concepts were way beyond them, which I think isn't a bad thing at all! I love that Pixar weren't afraid to give adults that part, to continue to say to audiences that animation isn't just a children's medium. You'd think with the proliferation of anime, the simpsons, family guy, the PJ's and such people would get it but so far it stills seems that only France and Japan realize animation can be for everyone.
