he was on a typical night of patrolling the city but this were kinda dull , so he decided this was a good time to stop and eat . he jumped off the rooftop landing quietly on the ground , and slinging his backpack off at the same time .

the owner came back with a pizza and a piece of paper he handed to Caleb . he walked away leaving the tow of them to talk “ here you’ll want this . he said sliding the paper over to her “ they are detailed maps . streets , secret tunnels , sewer system . you’ll notice there are three areas on your street map that have been marked in red . the warehouses , times square , and the abandoned airfield right outside town . if they see you they will watch and wait for the perfect time to kill you . “

“Hmm...” She hums, taking the paper from him. “Who’s watching me?” The female stares at the paper. “No one in the city knows me. Why would they take interest on an ‘explorer’?” She said the word; explorer by doing air quotes with her hands. “Although, I don’t mind doing jobs, as long they pay well.” She lean back, uncrossing her left leg and cross her right leg over her left leg.

She looks at Caleb. “I don’t mind being your ally. Plus, I’m not sure if my visit in America will either be long or short.”

“Alrighty.” She lean back, listening to him. He was right, this is New York city. The city that never sleeps and crime doesn’t sleep as well. Although, she rather to stay in the roofs when night time approach. It’s simple that way, in order to avoid certain people who wander the night. “I see.” Turns out, she was half listening, half tuning out. It was an old habit of hers, when someone tell her things not to do.

Sky took notice of the owner who approach their table. She did not question why the two men are talking but it seems that it was a code for something else. She looks away, giving them some privacy. Man, they were just in time. Outside of the restaurant, it was raining.

When he spoke back to her, Sky turn her head back to him. “Kinda on vacation and kinda on that. I am an explorer and at the same time, a part time mercenary.” Underneath the table, she crossed her leg. “An active ally?” She raised her eyebrow upon repeating those words he just said to her.
