growth isn’t always constant. relapses happen. it doesn’t erase all your success.
It’s easy to fall back into old habits, but it feels better to do better. And that’s enough motivation to keep looking in the right direction.
you’re getting there.
everytime you try again, you’re getting there.
everytime you get up and face another day, everytime you find yourself smiling, everytime you get through a rough patch, everytime you encourage or help someone else, everytime you do something you love.
you’re always getting there.
when people ask where you see yourself in 10 years
Your purpose in life is not to love yourself but to love being yourself.
If you goal is to love yourself, then your focus is directed inward toward yourself, and you end up constantly watching yourself from the outside, disconnected, trying to summon the “correct” feelings towards yourself or fashion yourself into something you can approve of.
If your goal is to love being yourself, then your focus is directed outward towards life, on living and making decisions based on what brings you pleasure and fulfillment.
Be the subject, not the object. It doesn’t matter what you think of yourself. You are experiencing life. Life is not experiencing you.

8 Things To Quit in 2019
1. Trying to please everyone.
2. Fearing change.
3. Living in the past.
4. Overthinking.
5. Being afraid to be different.
6. Beating yourself up over mistakes.
7. Thinking you’re not good enough.
8. Thinking you have no purpose.
reminder that 30 isn’t old, it’s very normal to not accomplish everything in your 20s, and that it is never too late to learn that thing you’ve always wanted to learn. you’re always growing. that’s a good thing.
looking healthy does not mean:
petite, curvy, small, large, muscular, slim, pretty, well dressed, sweating from the gym…etc
looking healthy means:
eyes sparkling, real smiling and laughter, skin that glows, a functioning alert body and radiating contentment and positivity about yourself.
Seriously cannot say this enough.
something: is pink
me: i’m fucking sold
dont forget to tell someone you love that you love them, thank people who deserve to be thanked, be more patient on people having a hard time, be more considerate, understanding, and be kinder, always.
Exercise is a celebration of what your body can do. Not a punishment for what you ate.
Ominous positivity
You will be okay. You have no choice.
Everything will turn out fine. You cannot stop it.
You will succeed. It is inevitable.
It took so much confrontation of pain and fear for me to finally be fully, completely and unapologetically myself. I’m not about to give that growth up anytime soon.
When you change, don’t announce it. Just bloom.
How are people rich in their 20s like what is that about
