I've seen the headcanon that Battat use to belong to Dess or just the Holidays in general in some way, from a Christmas themed board game in their basement Kris stole at some point to being Dess's failed attempt to make a loaded die that she gave to Kris, and I really like that idea it's very cute but Also.

I think we should apply it to the other Mikes as well. Because they need to do everything as a trio and also Battat has to have SOME reason to trust these two with his Mike Conspiracy.

So like. In my mind. Jongler was the Holiday living room remote. I like how some people connect them to Asgore through their love the Cowboys and the Cowboy show kinda implied to be Asgore's program of choice, so I immediately connected that to Rudy and maybe the Cowboy Show wasn't some Puppet based Woody's Round-up style show like some people joke but some kinda old Western Action thing that Rudy and Asgore watched together. How they got to the Dreemurr house could very well then be Asgore's fault; he pocketed the remote, forgot about it, and then lost it when he got home.

Then for Pluey I imagine she belonged to Noelle. Shadowguys are Weird in that I for a very long time didn't really get what their lightworld counter part is but I think the majority of people now agree they're the action figures in the Dreemurr windows. So like. Pluey was Noelle's doll she use to bring over to play sometimes, maybe she forgot it eventually and thus how Pluey ended up in the window with the rest of the guys, Toriel just assumed she was one of Kris or Asriel's toys when cleaning up. I think connecting Pluey to Noelle has good bones too just because of Pluey's cat and yellow and pink eyes theming and Noelle's ties to Cat Petterz, FRIEND, and Spamton.

I just think. It'd be cool if they all kinda came from the same place. More ways the Dreemurr and Holiday families were intertwined. Like echos of their connection...

And thAT'S WHY I DON'T THINK BATTAT BELONGED TO DESS. He belonged to Carol.

SHE'S the one with the Christmas obsession so I imagine she had a lot of Christmas themed family board games, I like the idea of something like Yahtzee the best because it is all Dice and I did find one that was just 4 red dice and 1 green die.

I imagine she eventually gave the game to Toriel, maybe after Dess vanished, sense she wouldn't be playing family games anymore and Kris and Asriel always liked this one. This has the added bonus of making Battat the last thing out of the Holiday House before everything got really bad, and giving him a reason to not know Spamton (hc Spamton leaving lined up in the Lightworld with Dess disappearing)

So with that, all three fake Mikes can echo their Holiday; Battat is theory crazy and kind of controlling, Jongler clearly has a teasing sense of humor and likes to push limits, and Pluey has this underlying connection to more than she knows plus the cute girl love of violence/dark stuff thing

Which leaves a very fun opening for Fake Mike the Fourth, Microphone.png, to belong to Dess. Silent and alone in the dark, always there, never not there, watching.

What if DarkWing (Drake) saved Megavolt (Elmo) from his own school project back in the 70’s? What change to the timeline would happened?

I wanted to be a bit more elaborate on this answer, but time keeps getting away from me. 😅😅

Considering that it's sort of both Megavolt's origin story and one of the many factors Darkwing claims goes into his, I'd have to wonder the butterfly effect this would cause.

On one hand, there's the possibility that Megavolt never gets his powers, so he never gets hired by Negaduck and likely never meets QuackerJack. If he never meets QuackerJack, then thier adventures and friendship would be drastically altered, which can also affect the timeline because they do also save the future via timetravel at one point... A future in which Darkwing becomes a basically the Frank Miller Dark Knight version of himself, "Darkwarrior", because there's no Gosalyn to keep Drake grounded.

Because the origin story is altered, Darkwing likely doesn't get to go back in time to also accidentally inspire his young self in the 50s to become a hero, so then we get this snarl. That also means that Darkwing wouldn't be in the position to meet Gosalyn and adopt her, which is an event that is very much established to be a core event, and that Darkwing wouldn't have a life worth living if it wasn't for her. This also means that Darkwing and Launchpad would never meet.

No Darkwing means no Negaduck, either. No Negaduck, no Fearsome Five, meaning the Friendly Four would likely be nonexistent as well, since they exist to fight Negaduck in thier universe. Also, by extension, Liquidator would not exist as he is, since Darkwing fighting him was the reason why he fell in the vat that turned him into water to begin with. Bushroot wouldn't have a friendship with these guys, either, and likely would just continue being more lonely in his greenhouse.

Which really, seems to point to the idea that Megavolt's origin story is THE Canon Event of the series, and the true moment Drake became Darkwing.

Altering that would completely tear up the foundations of the universe, meaning that Megavolt truly is the loadbearing character of the series.

Alternately, they either both get electric powers, or Darkwing gets electric powers, and Megavolt ends up adopting Gosalyn and becoming the Terror of the Night.

Either way, QuackerJack has to be one of thier friends, or the Paddywhack episode would have gone a completely different way with all the negative energy built up...

Maybe I need some better Megavolt experts to weigh in on this? 👀

I do have a little PTSD of people hating my mistakes in the past, To where I go through a state of mind.

Cycle:

I screw up.

I lock myself in my room to ball my eyes out.

I’m stuck in my head for a few days or months.

I then rethink on what I did wrong.

final step: I apologize.

but everytime I want to apologize to people, I’m already blocked without letting me say sorry.

And it’s really hard keeping guilty feelings in my mind for all my life on the internet.

So I hope people here can understand I’m really trying so hard to learn to socialize with everyone here.
